I'm not trying to disagree as I think the Xbox One and PS4 both look like a lot of fun but I think this gen should indicate that both will offer new Skus eventually which should be evident from all of the Skus they have produced and are still producing this gen. Well now people definitely are not going to want to pay the extra 100 for Kinect since they know they don't need it for the system to function which will eventually force MS hand to make a sku without Kinect and drop the price.
So they basically lied to the consumers again saying that the Xbox One wouldn't function without Kinect if I'm not mistaken. Low and Behold it does work without it.Imagine that.

If you pre ordered at a retail Best Buy/Gamestop etc. You better line up on launch day early because their will be shortages as their usually is and theyll use the old oh we didn't get as many consoles as we thought we would but you'll be on the waiting list for when we get more.
Pretty awesome video but I think these two console launches are a lot different than what we've seen in the past with console launches as their are a ton of games confirmed and more to be announced between 1st and 3rd parties for the first year plus this is the first time we have seen consoles with so much emphasis on F2P and Indie games that will fill the gaps in between.

Looks like it will be or should a budget title which if they can clean up some gameplay mechanics etc may not be a bad thing to have a title people can pick up on the cheap.
