If it was up to you we would probably be up our ears in shooters or driving games. I'm glad Sony has variety. I hate playing the same types of games. I love a good Heavy Rain or Until Dawn. Maybe Final fantasy every once in a while.
To me it scores higher because it's what I want. For IGN it's lower because they love shooters.
Drive Club. Enough said.
Infamous, Rezogun, Drive Club outsold Forza, Bloodbourne, Street fighter, Uncharted. Not too shabby.
This is a really good score for me. Especially from this site which generally docks all games which aren't shooters or major franchises one point even if creative. I'm getting this for sure. It's a great game to be able to pull that high a score for me. Generally horror games are messed up or not done right.This one seems to have gotten it right.
Make more of them. I'll keep buying all slasher horror related games. Just look how well a smartly made horror game gives a company recognized or money wise. It works. Make more please.
I couldn't agree more. I am really hoping this game does well enough to inspire sequels or more games similar to it in its genre slasher related. This generation is perfect to show off horror games.
Boom. Dispelling the myth Xbox has better "features" as a reason to buy Xbox. The features are also more functional on the PS4. Sony fans and buyers know this already though. That's the reason for the complete dominance. PS4 is just built like a beast. While Xbox One was unfocused and unfinished. Two consoles had to rush to release on time head to head. Now we know which one was finished and which One had to cut corners to make release.
I've been waiting a long time for a game like this. It's the kind of scary and right graphics to finally enjoy a horror experience like this in game form instead of at the movies finally. Very happy gamer right now.
The answer is this. Over 20 million users vs 10 Xbox. They can afford having their own install base vs pc and Xbox.
Unlike Kinect this is not a gimmick or even a peripheral. It's a new game system. If they treat it like that with games at launch then it will take off. This is a huge moment in gaming potentially.

Hahaha! No it was a mix of things. Price was cheaper, hardware more powerful, better diversity of games with Indies/exclusives. People care about resolution. There are great exclusives. The controller is exceptionally improved this generation.

The company displays it to their customers as well. They sorta come off as petty and arrogant. Knowing a whole group of people are not happy with the dismissal of a whole game and developer yet still going through it is kind of a middle finger to its fans. Sorta like Xbox when the exec said "Deal with it".
Lol. Burn. No but seriously. I played all the big shooters online plus Halo. Gears of war too.. I enjoyed Killzone 2/3 immensely. Maybe because I was a beast player on both. Maybe a little had something to do with it. :D

Wow this game is getting a few high scores. For a horror slasher to get any 10 or 9's is huge. Means it's really good for this genre. I'm getting. Lord I'm so pumped for this.
