One day we will all praise a feature like Kinect. Only it's probably not gonna be Kinect. Its gonna be Sonys version ironically. The reason why is they will be using that with it's true application use. Complete Virtual reality immersion of our body. Now I wish it had the technology of the Kinect for this. That is how this tech will properly finally get praise.
Exactly. My thoughts exactly. Couldn't say it any better. They should have went all in with Kinect added a VR helmet or just went all in on a gaming console like Sony.

Sony is perfectly planning it's camera. if it all works out with VR? This was the perfect Trojan horse to sell their camera with it. VR should have been Xbox plan from the beginning if they wanted to sell kinect as mandatory. Then at their conference explained it is mandatory because of upcoming VR tech added to it's console. Actually Sony could have forced their camera on us explaining this with Morpheus.
Now this is proper thinking for use of the device. On it's own it's basically just a controller. Not that good if one at that. Paired with Vr it is an entirely new console to game on. Kinects true use in the future of it's technology is as add on controller feature to VR.
Oh please. Lets not exaggerate here. Its most promising product ever is not a camera device. If it was it would have worked out. It flopped twice already. Its a PlayStation camera. Its been around as technology for a while now. Its not a complete product. What I mean is it needs the proper added something to make it truely useful. That something is Oculus Rift or Morpheus. Together with these things Kinect actually means something. Alone it's just a not so good controller.
I think there will be many more remasters, more Indies, more remakes. Just as you say. Just because it's easier and cheaper to do so.

Also let's remember the Xbox fans tauted a exclusive lineuo that turned out not good. Ryse was a horrible game. There was only a racing game. Deadrising isn't really a AAA title. Killzone was really the only good non racing AAATitle. Resogun ended up good. Its not like it had games at launch.
It'll be the same story after Christmas. Ps4 dominant. Stronger hardware inside, more gaming options, better 3rd party versions of every game. The only thing different will be the Cod franchise firmly entrenched in the PlayStation community.
What does that say of Sony's exclusive this generation potential? After all those devs made great games using a much harder complex CPU. imagine what they'll do now?
Nobody did anything to Xbox bad. It was just inferior technology. It had a higher price tag. It made it's peripheral device and online policy not optional. It really comes down to just one machine was better than the other. No hype involved.
To mevthey had the 3 best games of show. The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 7, Horizon. Then of course the big fun Uncharted.

Its not such a big deal as you make it to be for Sony to easily acquire at any time. Its readily available technology. Its not even a secret sauce or exclusive. The argument somehow Microsoft is the only place to get it is k I nda dumb really.

Cod becoming talked of as kinda a exclusive is a big deal. These are not small things VR, Indies, Until Dawn, Drive Clubs success, Bloodbourne, Persona, Uncharted collection. Play them off all you want. Make no mistake people are CHOOSING PS4 over Xbox for these console exclusive things though.
