I've been noticing something about you lately. It's not that you hate everything, you just hate anything that does better than you can hope to do. Which also happens to be everything.
He was called out before with the wall street journal nonsense. fyi. It didn't go well for anyone that WASN'T him.
Yeah he's asking for a completely different games. What cues could be taken from deus ex mass effect or witcher? Dialogue trees? This isn't a solo game experience.
I'm even more confused with final fantasy. I loved that series but it has nothing to add to this game.
The complaints make even less sense because that's EXACTLY what they fixed. There are things like settlements, npcs live events etc.
Complete with no one doing any of the older content!
Personally. If you're not gonna get the game before everything else is out you might as well use your hard earned money on something else that you know you'll enjoy more. Nothing worse than joining a game too late.
Destiny may not be an MMO per se, however, the game itself and the community HEAVILY take after MMO communities and their games. I.e. older content is usually completely ignored becau...
So basically this guy's gripe is that Destiny isn't a clone of FPS games. And that it takes from MMOs (because it is one).
'games journalists' really should require the ability to think. His argument makes no sense at all.
It actually has almost triple the original in story missions...but ok?
I mean in Destiny 1 all you needed to do is complete a weekly nightfall once and you might end up rolling an MT item as well as whatever else you got.
You don't need a crap ton of hours or grinding. Literally one mission a week.
Sunshine was by no means a flop LOL What is this guy smoking.
I feel like destiny is gonna face a lot of similar issues that dark souls did.
Some people will complain that it has too much new stuff " BUT WHAT ABOUT THE FIRST GAME?!"
Some people will complain that it has some of the old stuff " OMG THEY HAVE AN OVERARCHING WORLD?! WTF THIS SHOULD HAVE NOTHING FROM THE FIRST GAME! WHAT IS THIS A SEQUEL OR SOMETHING?!"
And those who complain regardless " I can't believe they're making a ...
Sorry that the content isn't super easy still? Man I remember solo'ing nightfalls. IMO it's a good thing that it's timed.
I don't really understand this since most of the most popular shooters right now DON'T have dedicated servers.
woe is me? 'I have anxiety' isn't a good excuse for anything when literally everyone and their mother claim to have 'anxiety' which just seems to be another word for 'i'm not logical at all'
Best version of most games is on pc. This is gonna be true for battlegrounds and will most likely be true for Destiny as well.
Just did this now out of curiosity, still works
I feel you on this. IMO though some figures are definitely better than others. Gabranth for instance, his joints are piratically invisible.
There is a public beta which is the funny part. Anyone who wants to try it will be able to this afternoon for a few days without preordering.
I think it's a bit early to thinking what the writer is thinking. We played 1 strike, 1 main mission, and two crucible modes.
The mission had a lot more story and actual direction than pretty much everything else in destiny, the strike had us deal with plenty of new things including a boss with actual phases (something only a handful of raid bosses and one strike boss in the prior game had) and the crucible modes deal with completely new team comps, and objectives.
Reading through that I don't feel like the writer really justified any of his disagreements, in fact I felt all of it was more of an excuse for why the terrible shit games media does what it does. "Yeah we do that but we have a reason!".
I think it's a problem overall to do those things at all. Mind you, not all youtubers are clean, but I feel that all of the popular ones make it clear who they are and follow a clearly outlined ethical code.
I mean lets look at what the xbox one X's selling point is. "Most powerful console ever" Ok cool.
Let's look at the recent history of consoles and what sells better. In every case, the most powerful console was never the winner. I don't think microsoft understands what console gamers truly want. Most powerful is something that applies to pc gamers, and why would they care when you can get everything on xbox 1 on a pc now and on better hardware?
I don't think you understood what he said. He's saying that infusing a weaker weapon into a stronger weapon makes no sense.
