Generally if your hardware is better and the game runs worse it means the devs are trash. That's 100% of the time the issue because the logic of it makes no sense for it to be anything else. Pc gamers have been dealing with this nonesense for years now. Maybe console gamers will start to understand now.
Mind you the game in question here is Skyrim, I feel like everyone forgets how atrociously bad Bethesda is when it comes to developing games.

It's fine if he hates them, but he has sponsors and a team. Your words and actions can negatively affect those things.

Agreed but...does it really matter? Whatever they are doing with the extra time, clearly it's working because recent previews have noted vast improvements.

fyi bethesda said they would be giving out review copies day of launch. Everyone gets their free games still just no one will have time to actually play it and give information to consumers.
Difference is that writing about a 2 hour movie that you only need to watch is far less work than writing about a 100 hour plus game.
1. The purpose of pre release coverage and reviews is to inform the consumer before they spend their money, hard to do that when they can only cover something post-release.
2. They are letting their readers know that they will not be covering bethesda in the future and why. Better than silence(a la no man sky).
