If I was a hardcore 360 owner I would stay away from the internet and just keep blinders on. I would only look up Halo Reach news and keep myself and halo news in a bubble. That way I could try to think that I made the best decision.
You guys can continue to tell yourselves whatever you want. I gave you my advice and if you want to really make a change you need to buy more software and not just more hardware. If you take some time to figure it out you'll understand.
The best thing about these numbers as have shown over the years is that the 360 install base is only growing by existing 360 owners who own multiple consoles. Xbox S comes out and 360 owners buy a new system and trade in the old. You can't argue that's not the case since 360 didn't see an increase in software sales. Also look at the top two games look how close NCAA is, and then compare those numbers to last years.

The fact that in Japan the 360 doesn't matter and the same has happened in Europe. As for the US it's not completely slanted towards the 360, you have a ton of gamers in the US who are picking up the PS3 and don't care for the 360. In japan there isn't such a fanbase for the 360 and in Europe the tide has changed in favor of the PS3. 360 owners in the US want all us gamers to only play 360, but they just can't convince everyone to do it.
