I wonder if the fact that it would've released on the same day as Diablo 3 has anything to do with it. I know they added DX11 and all that, but one has to wonder if D3 played even a little bit into the alteration.
yup, Halo was definitely awesome. My bro and I hit 50 in team doubles for Halo 3. You knew that those games were always going to be close and make you play your best. Now it's all about everyone having the same experience. In my opinion it's alot more fun to lose some and THEN win the big ones rather than feel like you win all the time. Losing makes winning that much better I think.

COMPLETELY AGREE. How many PC franchises going to consoles not only lower player counts but also TAKE AWAY FEATURES? Don't tell me it's the hardware, because MAG supported 256 players and had features that were very familiar with BF2 players. Crysis/ Loses prone, super sprint,super jump, and player count. BF/ loses prone(bc2), Commander, airstrikes, large maps(half of BF3 maps WERE designed for 24 players)...Even Call of Duty got scrubbed, for those tha...

I'm talking about the absence of any real recoil, xp everytime you kill someone or do anything really, and fast paced nature coupled with casual friendly mechanics. Where have the HARDCORE shooters gone? Even Halo 3 could be considered hardcore compared to most FPS coming out now. Easy to learn, difficult to master. That's what I want.
so is EVERY FPS going to try to be COD, bomb, and then try to re-invent itself? If I wanted to play COD, I would play COD. But I don't. I'll give FC2 a chance but right now it seems that it may have gone in a VERY casual direction, which I'm not personally a fan of.
Sprint, instant respawns, and random weapon drops sounds like my favorite console series just got call of dutied:(

Ugh!!!! I stopped watching when he called in scout support. How many times is this going to happen before devs realize. A. Far Cry fans dont want call of dutied far cry. B. Call of duty fans will just go back to call of duty! NOBODY EVER DOES COD BETTER THAN COD! I personally prefer bf/Arma/CS over call of duty, but i just wish they would try their own thing.
I don't think the 7670 will be enough to run graphically demanding games at 1080p 60fps. Hopefully, the 30fps lock that was so prevalent this generation will be gone the next. I'm really interested to see the final specs for all three companies this year.

Agree completely. If Nintendo REALLY wants to befriend 3rd parties then, imo, they should have a killer online service and structure. How crazy would it be if Valve helped with their online service?
Just look at how expensive Games on Demand are, comparatively speaking to Steam. Even if used games ceased to exist do you really think that Microsoft or Sony would lower prices accordingly? No way! They would leave them the same and make even more money!

How did I make 360 owners look bad? I don't even own a 360. I'm just saying that the PC platform hasn't even found a justification for blu-ray games, so how have consoles (other than blu-ray movies?)
I hope Microsoft has an option to install discs to the hdd. I mean what's wrong with keeping DVDs, forcing an install, and having a 1 tb HDD to avoid paying their competition for blu-ray. I dont see the point except for blu ray movies. Never had an issue with my PC not having a blu ray drive.
Changing your powers on the fly sucks with a controller, imo. I tried to use one because third person games are pretty good with a controller but I just couldn't get down with how inefficient it was comparatively speaking to a mouse and keyboard.
