Some of these controversies are really reaching, especially the thing with the hairstyle. "Straight up based the sex slave robots design off of Yulia Tymoshenko... The leader of the Ukrainian 'Batkivshchyna' political party" Even if so, that politician is supposedly pro-kremlin so if they really based the design on her wouldn't it be mocking one of Putins puppets? For me it just looks like a common hairstyle you would see on a soviet-era propaganda poster.
I don't have a problem with developers delaying features, if it means the game comes out in a playable state otherwise, which sadly isn't the norm on PC anymore. I just hope the RT is gonna be as sophisticated as the trailers they've shown.
Plague Tale: Requiem (which is still an amazing game) delayed their RT features only for the RT being fairly minimal and unimpressive. Hope mundfish can do better
I am still really happy they managed to push out a game that looks and runs great on PC on Day1, even without Ray-Tracing. Would have loved to see it ofc, but the cube-maps in the opening sequence also look pretty good.
Only issue I had with the game so far is that sync is broken and has to be activated in the Nvidia control panel, otherwise it has been perfect so far from a technical standpoint.
You should check out the Digital Foundry video they have optimized settings for the game.
AFaik DLSS3 is in the works
I don’t wanna be tied to a single platform with my VR headset, especially when I pay more for it then the platform itself. Even the Quest 2 can be used with a PC.
PS5 is great, but PC has really big backlog for VR games
15 pages to click through 🤮
The RT is not that impressive, they mostly make use of RT-Reflections and there are barely any out in the open-world. They are mostly in Hogwarts.
Dying Light 2 runs around 90fps on my 4080 with 4k and RT and that uses RTGI, so Hogwarts Legacy running over 100fps on a 4090 is the bare minimum.
"Did you even buy it to see for yourself?"
Don't need to see it for myself when I already don't like the regular dualsenses battery time.
"What is everyone doing to need so much battery life?"
Playing games
What a shame that Mafia has a 30fps lock, so many great PS4 games are held back and could profit by PS5s hardware. We need more next-gen patches.
Hope they support these features on PC. I love playing with my Dualsense on PC. Works great for Dying Light 2
The gameplay they showed so far definitely looked too good to be true. I'm excited to see what the game actually looks like so far
I can definitely blame a company for offering a worse experience to their paying customers, then if i would just wait for a cracked version.
" if they did nothing to stop there’d be no games" tons of games come out without this crap and sell just fine
This also needs 16 gb for recommended, read the article
Beyond Good & Evil 2 has broken Dukes record for being the longest sequel in development. It's also an Ubisoft game
The Xperia Play was the first smartphone I ever owned and I still have it to this day. Did a bunch of repairs on it. It's still functional and pretty good for emulation
Still no news if the headset is compatible with PC? I dont want an "upgrade" for the PS5 that costs more than the console itself
In Germany the only places available have them for around 1700-1800€, cheapest i could find was 1269€ "available soon". The 4080 is readily available for 1350€. For 1000€ i would have considered getting the xtx but 4080 seems to be the better choice right now. At least in Germany
"Pokémon Order & Pokémon Chaos currently in the early stages of development with a release date still too far out to determine."
Looks promising, but a lot of these fan-games get abandoned or c&d before the final release. Let's hope this isnt one of them
Only 1080p to present a next gen upgrade?
Digital Foundry has been pretty fond of the Series S so far
