Once the fortnite money starts drying out they will struggle. I love how they tried to boast about how great World War Z's sales were when it would have been so much more on steam, same with Metro Exodus.
It's anti consumer and they are going about creating a steam rival the wrong way. I hope steam continues to ignore it and like you mentioned, drops L4D 3, Portal 3, etc
F Zero would be great, Nintendo have so many great dormant franchises they could do a lucky dip and we'd still get something good

My biggest want is just a better online service and a better catalogue of games. I hope they announce plans to add SNES, N64, Gameboy, DS and Gamecube games going forward. I think DS and Gameboy should be available on the eshop similar to the 3DS
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and for purely nostalgic reasons Sonic R as I owned it on PC haha, that game has not aged well at all

Tetris 99 is the game no one asked for but everyone likes, I suck ass at tetris but it was a great get by Nintendo. Hope they continue this type of thing going forward as their online is still miles behind the other two

It's not about the 12% developer fee for the most part as I think everyone can agree steams cut is too much. It's more about paying stupid money for exclusivity deals for games that were already planned for a release on steam. Like the whole metro deal when pre orders were still open on steam is predatory to say the least. I don't see why you would bother to buy this game in it's current state, unlike NMS and SoT I don't see Bioware being able to turn this one around. Just cut your losses and move on

Agreed. The Wii is personally one of my favourite consoles of all time (up there with the original DS and PS2) but Nintendo struggled appealing to people who weren't the elderly. There are some great RPG gems on the system + the standard great 1st party games but the Wii remote just sucked for most actual gaming and it was under powered compared to the PS3/360, so it didn't get good 3rd party support.

Nintendo just get the handheld market and I think combining both was a calculated strike. It's no secret they have struggled with console gaming since Sony/Microsoft came about (If we exclude the Wii as an anomaly) but they haven't put a foot wrong in the handheld department. Quality 1st & 3rd party support, giving indie games new life and innovation are just some of the things Nintendo never gets wrong with their handhelds.

Exclusives have always been a constant when it comes to Sony and Nintendo and it's no surprise that they are both miles infront of Microsoft in gaming. If Google haven't realised this and think they can get big off of 3rd party games with latency issues then they have a nasty surprise waiting for them
