Articles like these when the year hasn't even finished are stupid and just try to create blind hate. Sure Nintendo has some killer games coming out but are we really going to forget how severely average their year has been so far for games?
Plus Sony have some cool games coming out + some great looking multi plats, how can one company even 'win' a year.
I guess I would consider it to be 8th gen personally but it is up for debate, not like it matters too much. I think the switch will end up being Nintendo's design going forward and we'll just get more powerful iterations when the newest Playstations/Xbox launch for the gen.

It's the best handheld system created specs wise and library wise, bias or no bias. I don't think you understand that if you want a switch as powerful as PS4/XB1 with it's hybrid form factor then Nintendo would have to charge more than double what the switch costs, potentially triple. It's not profitable at that price point and I imagine would be difficult to create at the current switch size.
Half the people who say the switch sucks have no idea what they are talking about. Rarely you get anyone on this website that has a legitimate argument about the console

But you could argue that the switch is moving gaming forward by combining portability and home console gaming? You cant pick and choose
Will be really interesting to see how this runs. I imagine quite a few developers will keep tabs on the sales/performance to see how worth it porting games is to the switch. So far it's proven money but this is a different beast of a game. If it has a stable 30 fps in handheld I'll definitely pick it up again
Square Enix and Nintendo were the only bright parts of a pretty bad E3.
The DK crew being so excited and happy to see their old friend was a great moment, well done to both Nintendo and Microsoft for making this happen

They have definitely improved I'll say that much. Whilst their E3 conference was a massive missed opportunity to show off some more exclusives + actual gameplay, I don't have any doubts that they know the problems the xbox one suffered from.I imagine we will get an X019 later this year with some information as well.

I don't care for epic exclusivity too much but completely agree that they need to honour the customers who were explicitly told they would be getting a steam key, or offer a refund in full. This is a really bad look for deep silver
these 'journalists' are no different than people in the N4G comments section. I'd be really embarrassed calling myself a journalist if I don't know basic knowledge about my field.
N4G will probably still get these types of comments even if Microsoft churn out some great games next gen no doubt, they cant win even if they do something right with some people

Sly Cooper is such an underrated series, games are great fun.
The majority of the games listed are definitely not better than Mario games. The only ones listed that come close are Rayman Legends and Tropical Freeze, maybe throw an honourable mention at Ori and Celeste as well. All are fantastic games but to say they are better than Mario platformers is a big stretch.
