I've had the ps3 since release and the only game I played here is shatter
Kitase gave a quote not long ago that the FFXIII team were moving on to their next project and that they want to release an FF title every 2 years or so.
So it might be coming in 2012.
If it is FFXV. They might just be making that type Zero no one knows anything about.
@deafwing you might be on to something there, the story was written so that it took place somewhere with no people. The whole game actually kinda felt monotonous because of this. It was just this path they put you on with no pit stops along the way where you can interact with the locals, do side missions and trigger important events.
I think that's the key thing XIII was missing.
Stop trying to westernise it.
Its Final Fantasy, don't try and make it something it isn't.
The first section of an FF game has always been linear, there only ever was one place you could go, unless its like IV and VIII where there where certain points in the game you could go almost anywhere.
Once you progress with the story and get some transport you can go anywhere.
Thats the way FF has always been. Sure, more open-worldyness would be welco...
You know, I keep meaning to go back to White Knight and trying to finish it but I just can't convince myself. What I did play I enjoyed though.
I think this is actually a damn good list I havent played mass effect but will play ME2 when it arrives on PS3 and havent played monster hunter but I'm sure that's good too.
My top pic is Demon's Souls, followed by Oblivion
Played the Killzone 3 beta, its a very slow, laborious game. Your character, for instance shakes about the screen a lot when sprinting, but doesn't really go anywhere and other players can take 10 well-aimed bullets to kill. I can see why people might like it but its not for me.
As far as CoD goes, sure it's easy to play, but difficult to master as well as having a level up system that caters to completionists in keeping it fun for a long time.
Plus, ...
@hasj1990
They can put it down on the list because there is guaranteed to be a new one and millions of people will buy it.
Look at it logistically, and not just from your own point of view.
As far as I'm concerned there's no reason why the highest selling FPS franchise can't be on a 'most anticipated' list
There are only like 8 FPS games next year and at least 3 of them'll just be pure rubbish. Only two I'll buy are Restance 3 (Definitely) and the new CoD (maybe). But they're just my type of FPS. A lot more hardcore than any other FPS games out there that I've tried. :D
You talked shit on the mic and then muted me. How you gonna hit me when you haven't hit puberty? lol that was quite funny
Mine is to not have a resolution. I'm perfect. ;)
Most people usually pick the first one they played as their fave.
This might be why I like IX slightly more than the others. A lot of people seem to like VI. Anyone know when that was last released? I want to check it out.
Ok, your post makes no sense whatsoever after the first paragraph. Why are you talking about FPSes? No one even said anything about Halo being the George Washington o FPS games.
You crazy
I liked the chocobo hot/cold minigame in FFIX because it was fun and because it rewarded you with treasure maps and such.
I did think blitzball could have been better if you were given full control like in a game like FIFA because it was supposed to be a sport, why ruin it with all these numbers? But if you get into it (assuming you've suffered through the agonisingly boring tutorials) it can actually be quite fun and deep, for a minigame.
As for the card...
Mass Effect 2...
Is that game any good?
Yeah, for me its gonna be year of buy games when they come down in price lol
Well, who says the PS3 needs a year?
I mean, I'd rather have a year of great multiplatform games than a year of great exclusives.
You see, that allows everyone to play. Not just PS3 or 360 owners.
There's nothing I like more than being able to talk to my gamer friends who own an xbox about games I have actually played. But that's maybe just me.
Yeah, man. I think they only had like 10 voice actors for Oblivion. Everywhere you go, you talk to NPC's that have the exact same voice. Scary.
Yeah, I remember every single cave in the game looked so dull. But, that wasn't a huge issue.
Yeah, I see that as being the way forward, co-op. It doesn't even need any other kind of multiplayer, mind you an arena battle mode would be nice.
That aside, they need to hire ME for quality testing because if there are any glitches in that game to be found, I'll find 'em.
Also, flying a dragon would be awesome, I agree.
Well, thanks for the update, bethesda. While I am looking forward to the game, I don't really need minor news like this in interviews.
"feels more believable"
I mean its just so general. No real info there at all.
Actually the finishing moves sound cool
