Well of course the story is different. The story was terrible in Demons Souls. It's the gameplay I'm looking for. If the gameplay is the same as Demons Souls then its a sequel.
Just like final fantasy, the gameplay barely changes but the story always does

Demon's Souls was awesome.
It did something no other game (that I recall) has done.
It literally had me enjoy dieing in the game.
I'd love a little bit of co-op online play. My only criticism of Oblivion was the loneliness.
Even if its something thats been "tacked on" to the game to allow another player to join in your game, with rules of course.
1 - they cant just go anywhere, they warp to the host player when they fast travel etc.
2- they cant talk to NPCs or make decisions for the host (for obvious reasons).
3- they can't keep any items, but they would be able to lev...

Thats more or less what I thought of it. The game feels more actiony but it still has the character progression elements and the story.
I don't really feel as though the tactical element has gone either. I'm sure you can still preset what your party does before you go into a fight.
I like it, but money is tight right now, so it wont be a day one purchase for me but a definite buy nonetheless. =D

This is a game I'd never heard of until recently.
With all the noise it's been getting recently, I might have to check it out.
I'm not usually one to dismiss games straight away, but I'm gonna go ahead and just say this game looks just silly.

I don't think its too far fetched if they give you an objective like 'find water' or something like that at a certain point.

I see the way Drake moves is a bit more lifelike. I mean, go back to that second video and watch him reload. Its a lot less robotic than in Uncharted 2.
Also, I think the setting of the game is nice. A desert. Well, I'm sure there will be a lot of different environments. Just like in 2.
I need to go play 1 and 2 again before this comes out.
