I dont think its particularly NOOB-Friendly. I didnt enjoy the beta because everyone on there was so good
It could be the best of the year but it has stiff competition. The other RPGs (Well, the ones I'm definitely buying) are all really good as well.
Think about it-
Mass Effect 3.
Dark Souls.
Dragon Age 2.
FF Versus XIII?
All good games.
Any of them could be the best IMO. But I think if they get this game right, it'll take the cake.

I got stacking for free on PS Plus and didn't like it.
Its too quirky and weird. I just felt like I was wasting my time playing it.
Must just be me though because all the reviews I've read have given it exceptional scores.
It is pretty well made and it looks good I just don't think the whole premise of the game is good.
Again, I got it for free so I'll keep the complaining to a minimu...

To be fair, I doubt demon's souls (as awesome as it was) really needed all the space the Blu-Ray disc offers anyway.
The game will be a blast! I just hope MS fanboys don't write it off because the franchise used to be a PS3 exclusive. Because if they do, it is their loss.
As for the PS3 elitists, I'm sure they're putting 110% into making this game and I'm not worried at all.
These two games need not compete for my money. Both of them are must buys.
But, that said, if they release around the same time I might buy whichever comes out first, play that and then buy the other.
It all depends on the Dark Souls release date because I know skyrim is out 11/11/11.

Nah, even the latest diamond and pearl was awesome. But I think they might be running out of Ideas for pokemon
