“In past years much of the growth in PC games has been due to adoption of the platform in Asia. Now we are estimating a potential 86 million PC gamers outside Asia that we have targeted as market growth drivers,” DFC analyst David Cole noted in an e-mail sent to us along with the projections. “These are the consumers that are drivi...
How so? Can you define fleeing? The PC gaming market is as strong as it's ever been, there's stats and sells to prove that as well. No one is leaving the PC as a gaming platform and more than ever companies are realizing that it is a viable platform.
But I'm not talking about sales or markets, I'm looking at the picture that MS has painted throughout the last decade, promises here and there and none have fully been realized.
That's the key, we're not talking about other console makers. MS has been dabbling in PC gaming, on and off and has stated on many occassions that they would support the PC and daggle a carrot in front of us. Then they would just as fast pull it away. I'm liking what MS is doing now, but my concerns is how long will they keep it up. I know it may seem jealous but if you say you're going to do something and then keep going back on that word, it makes it pretty hard to believe y...
Can't wait until the alpha invites go out and get some hands on. A computer focused online fighting game that abandons the traditional fighting game control scheme? Sounds like they're on to something here.
The man was talented, no arguments there. It's a shame that the decline of Nintendo had to be something that weighed heavily on him. I just wish he / they had focused on his health vs getting him back into the grind.
Well that stinks, but I understand why there's no local multiplayer.
As mentioned it's without a OS. On top of that, there are many plays where you can get a windows 7 or 8 license for under $50 dollars, hell you can use the Windows 10 preview for free.
Missing Killer Instinct, Ryse, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Ori and the Blind Forest. C'mon folks, if we're going to talk exclusives, let's not forget them all and not be selective.
Me, I have all the systems, I play what I want.
Last Guardian isn't out, Killzone ShadowFall was so so, The ORder 1886 was terrible (ask anyone), Street Fighter 5 isn't out and isn't exclusive as it's on the PC as well.... FF7 is't out, GT7 isn't announced or out. They are talking games that have been released.
Looks like Fromsoftware has yet another way to get money from me. Not that I"m complaining, I simply must have this.
Agreed, I wish they showed more but from what I've seen in the past, this just made me want it more.
There was a falling out with Microsoft and Witch Beam a while ago. The game was actually going to be on the Xbox One but MS's ID@Xbox parity crap killed it.
Q: Is there any chance that Cactus could possibly come to the Xbox One?
A: I’d say this, right now, I never say never, but I would say no – it’s not happening. We originally talked to Microsoft before E3-ish and the response was that they weren’t interested in it because they had their Xbox Live Arca...
Definitely need to check it out, it's a great game. Definitely one of my favorites of the year.
My only gripe is that the game was supposedly to already be released. But at the same time I understand it's a one man development show, but I just want this in my system. I miss the arcade racers of old.
Really.... What the hell is going on with this title. Oh wait, it's Ubisoft.
Agreed, I picked this up on a whim cause I wanted to see how easy it was to use and for the most part it is a decent device. That said I also picked up an Elgato which I'm going to review and likely use as my goto device. If the PVR Rocket only did 1080p @ 60 fps, then it would be best out there. The ease of use is fantastic and you don't even need a laptop/computer to use.
I know right. I asked about cinder and all they did was smile.
It also comes with an physical art-book, for people who like collecting them.
Its safe to assume that it's not coming to the US, seeing how the PC version has been announced since 2012. Was supposed to be released in 2013 and has been on indefinite hold since then. I wish there was some confirmation but this is Sega.
Look at the track record, that's all i'm saying.
