What? A game shouldn't be a system because in the end a fanboy wants it kept on his/her system of choice. That's just silly.
1. It robs those who either don't have a PS4 or don't want one a chance to play this game.
2. It's a business decision and money is money
3. Does it matter how long a game has been running on another system? How many games have we seen that has jumped to and from other platforms? Mass Effect, Call of Duty, Sonic, ...
There's an issue with the system, I really wrote an article on this after talking to 3 different reps. They addressed some of the games and commented that they will continue to give 20% on all pre-orders. This also happened earlier this year as well.
I don't think Lawbreakers qualifies as a success. It's launch numbers has been reported as being lower than Battleborn's numbers. That's pretty depressing, as the game did receive a lot of hype and praise. Now, Hellblade, well that game is just fantastic.
Maybe, Foraoise, you should do some research before calling someone a moron, you fucking ass. When a company stops creating games for its own system, there's an issue. Maybe you forgot that Sony themselves stated over 2 years ago that they were not developing any more first party games for the system. And that Sony themselves have stated that the PS Vita did not live up to their expectations. Expensive hardware, no real commericals / marketing to drive home the system and what it could do...
Please, Sony isn't that stupid to build another hand held. PSP was a failure, as was the Vita. Not due to the hardware, but mismanagement by Sony. Any new attempt at a handheld would be eaten by the Switch and 3DS market, not to mention iOS and Android gaming.
People cheating the system are mad that they got charged. That's basically it and I agree with BB. If you had zero plans on buying the game, then you shouldn't have pre-ordered it. That's basically it.
And once again, DSOGaming shows its click bait writing style. There was zero mention of the testing using Vulkan, which has been the only way Fury X was able to get close to the GTX 1080. Not OpenGL, not DirectX, just Vulkan.
FH3 has definitely gotten better over time. Thankfully, Playground Games was receptive to the feedback and was determined to make the game run as it should have. Now it's easy to hit a constant 60fps at both 1080p and 1440p, as well as 4K for some.
Have you even played Dauntless? Or even Monster Hunter World, yet? I'm asking since I have played several Dauntless games so far and I didn't feel it was garbage at all.
It's not that people are sleeping on the conference, it's that Sony has been really quiet about their plans. Even on the press side of things.
Heard about this about a year so so ago. Still pissed it isn't coming to consoles or PC.
Spoiling too much is different than not spoiling anything. Mentioned I hated dragons, didn't say anything about the actual fight. Plus if you played the game, what was referred to, you would have encountered it early on.
I never understand how people here are so dense and fanboyish. When Sony had nothing, the Xbox fanboys were harassing them, not it's their turn. Regardless, no one outside of Microsoft and their close partners knows what is powering the Scorpio. MS has been very tight-lipped about what's in it. Not even Pachter, who I consider completely out of touch with technology and the sector.
For the one person talking about GPU's and 4K, older video cards have been able ...
I'll get back to you on that.
They haven't said why.
How the hell does a game get a perfect score when it has the issues it has with the frame drops?
I know, it's killing us. But it's so fantastic and is making up for the drought we had previously.
Correct. None of the beta's have any single player. That's part of the issue with the review copies not going out until after the game ships. No idea on how long the single player is.
None of the Bestbuys in my area have it either. I had to go the digital route. If that doesn't say anything, I don't know what does.
*Sarcasm mode on*
So you're telling me that a game loading off of a hard drive will load faster than a game that ran off a disc? Along with better compression tech as well? Well dang, I would have never guessed that.
