Most likely they pressured the launch, I'm assuming at least...because I mean it was a pretty quick reveal and then a almost immediate launch after gameplay trailers.
Anyways, this game looks like it's a fun iOs, PSn/360/eshop 10$, or Vita/3Ds game...nothing more

Shenmue was amazing and I agree with most comments, that the game felt that way because of how alive everything felt within the game.
I honestly haven't felt as immersed in game as I have in Shenmue, prob the closest game was Journey.
That game really was a Shenmue of this generation IMO....not really a gameplay successor but an immersion successor definitely. I truly felt like I was battling for my life near the end, and felt connected with my partner. ...

If it were a PS3 and vita game, the vita would've gotten less because of downgrade in graphcis or stuff on screen.....the knit pick the Vita like crazy.
