"So much for free speech on the internet.. Lmao"
Free speech is obviously a great thing, problem is there are so many "special" people on the internet and N4G is a haven for the retards, so speaking the truth here sometimes gets you banned unfortunately.
Belking, I just want you and all the other xdone fanboys to know that 363mm2 is not a big chip by any means. The gpu I have in my pc right now is 551mm2 with 7.1 billion transistors...and that's just the gpu, not including the cpu with an additional 1.4 billion processors and 160mm2 die size.
That equals 8.5 billion transistors vs your 5 billion transistors and 711mm2 of die space on the processors vs your puny 363mm2 die.
Get a grip kid, the xdone is n...
Greece is a shithole. Athens is one of the filthiest cities on earth.
Billy Ray must be so proud
It won't
I agree the APU as a whole is vastly underpowered. With only 18 compute units and 1154 stream processors the gpu compares to a mid-range AMD gpu from almost 2 years ago. The 8-core cpu is nice but underclocked at only 1.6ghz is really weak. These consoles were not designed to be powerful, they were designed to be extremely energy efficient producing less heat so there is less hardware failures (RROD), and also be easier and cheaper to manufacture.

*facepalm*
Yeah cuz ubisoft has proven they are so lazy with great looking and great playing Far Cry 3. Another open world multi-plat like AC4.
Hardware limitations is the problem not lazy devs, stop using that lame excuse.
@listenkids above:
Your statement about maxing out bf3 is funny because you actually need something about twice as powerful to max out bf3 @ 1080p with a solid 60fps. So if there is any validity to your st...
7 game modes is too much
This is exactly what I've been saying since the official specs have been announced. Deluded fanboys and the uneducated always disagree of course but the reality is this new console generation is not going to be the graphical leap we've seen in past generations.
It wouldn't be 35-45 it would be capped at 30fps like every console game. During lots of action on screen it would regularly dip well below 30fps just like every console game. It will be a sub-par experience especially for a MP shooter. Also as IGN stated the graphics will be significantly worse than any of the demo videos seen to date.
Best just to go with PC for this one.
Absolutely no chance the console version will be running 1080p, 60fps, 64 players. Anyone who ever expected this is a delusional fanboy.
It will be so freakin sick on PC
You're not a real man unless you ubersample. Don't be a pussy
PC is the only place to play Titanfall. Don't bother with the crappy console versions. Even a low end laptop would run this game with better graphics than console and the online would be free.
Only in very rare circumstances where a game is completely broken and not at all the same as it was advertised...such as The War Z. That is not a policy but an exception to the rule. Thankfully there are not many deceitful developers and publishers out their like Hammerpoint and Arktos.
I'm a big advocate for Steam because Valve treat their customers so well but after seeing this, damn, I gotta give EA kudos. Digital distribution customers have obviously been wanting a refund policy for a long time.
The only game I've bought on Origin to date is Battlefield 3 because I had no choice. Now I may be looking at Origin as another option to Steam for all games unless Steam makes a legitimate attempt to compete. However I doubt the sales on Origin will eve...
Not the same. According to the link you can get a refund on Origin within 24hrs of downloading a game or within 7 days of the date of purchase.
Steam only gives refunds for pre-orders before the release date. https://support.steampowere...
I have to say, as much as I hate EA, this is a big step in improving digital distribution. Even Steam doesn't offer refunds afaik. There are definitely a few games out of the hundreds I've purchased that didn't quite live up to the BS reviews I read on IGN and other various websites that operate off of big publisher paybacks. This is great news, I hope other digital distributors will follow suit.
Here's my experience with both AMD and Nvidia products:
Since 2007 I've owned 4 AMD/ATI graphics cards (2x 5870s, 2x 7990s) and 5 Nvidia gfx cards (8800 gts, 2x 580s, 1x 680 Lightning, 1x Titan). I have good experience with both and no bias towards either one.
AMD gpu's generally run much hotter and less power efficient than Nvidia. As a consequence their video cards are almost always much louder and put out a lot more heat which may not sound lik...
lol does it really matter? If you actually care about the differences between consoles, just buy a PC. You will be way happier.
