Back to the topic, I played the JPN demo as well but i couldnt read Japanese text but from the looks of things I can tell you that its a lot better than Soul Sacrifice. Dont get me wrong, Soul Sacrifice is a fantastic game, but its not Monster Hunter.
They are allowed to do this. A law was passed a few years back for "Jailbreaking" your devices (Iphone jailbreak case). However pirating software is still illegal. With that said, We all know why people jailbreak their game consoles? Here's a hint, its not for "homebrews".
It may help boost hardware sales but software sales will drop. In addition, Nintendo is already having trouble getting 3rd party developers to make games for it. this will just push 3rd party developers further away from the Wii U.
In the general and consumers eyes a three prong and two prong may not seem that much of a difference. But in a hardware and hardware engineer's eyes it makes a lot of difference.

Because capcom and Nintendo have an exclusive deal to keep new monster hunter games on nintendo's hardware. Even if Sony throw their entire assets towards capcom. Capcom can't break the contract. Sony is trying to find the next "monster hunter".

yes its true core gamers are missing out on great 1st party nintendo games. But Nintendo need the core gamers. Casual gamers will buy less numbers of games compared to core gamers.
I see your point. But I believe Nintendo shot themself in the foot when they released the Wii U. But if you dont have 3rd party support you do not have a game console. When you lose 3rd party support you lose consumers.
PS4 and XB1 in spec they are very similiar so developer will develope games for both at the same time. If a developers decided to port a game to Wii U, that will take more time, resources, and money. This is most likely the deciding factor if a next gen gam...
I'll be surprised if it sells half as much compared to last gen.
