Agreed the duplicates on N4g really needs to stop.
So to summarise then the true Xbox one experience can only be had in the US at launch because everyone else wouldn't have the Tv features and some countries now won't have voice as well which is not the Xbox one experience MS showed people at their reveal.
Well that puts the localization statement out of the window because it's not even supported in all countries being launched.
By that logic then Sony must be completely out of touch with consumers and gamers since they have yet to reverse any of their policies /s
One when PS4 is announced at the reveal and through all the interviews at the time it was confirmed that the PS4 could be played offline and a near constant connection was not needed and used games would work (The way it was worded at the time was a bit funny). So how they could have the same level of DRM you say they had is beyond me. The only type of DRM that would work is online passes which they confirmed by saying they are leaving it up to publishers.
Like Frigid's madness came to a lie I will wait and laugh at this when it's all confirmed to be untrue. Also one question if the Xb1 is all powerful with it's dual-gpus why is there such a graphics downgrade in Ryse Coliseum mode compared to the all glorious and beautiful Single player???
@HolyDuck
Did you just say Sony as yet to talk to the community when Shuhei Yoshida ( President of Worldwide Studios, Sony Computer Entertainment) is basically a support rep on twitter. And he has only taken a very small jab at MS one or two times.
Am guessing you're talking about the parody account of Kaz Hirai loool.
Same here timed launches won't kill me, I don't pay DLC and I don't play sports games so this deal has no affect on me.
How so??
From what we have seen all Sony is doing is embracing the indie community and giving them a platform where they can stay independent like on PC, Nintendo and mobile platforms. So you're saying Sony is paying all indie devs like the guys who make War Frame and War thunder from going to the Xbox platform. When they have said multiple times the only thing blocking them is MS policies with F2P games atm and their recent indie policy change from being in motion becaus...
Don't think they can with most things EA with the unprecedented partnership they have with MS. Good point though.
We can see that.... Almost all EA titles are timed exclusives for XB1, BF4 timed exclusive DLC, Fifa 14 exclusive UTL mode for Xbox platform, Fifa 14 bundle with every XB1 pre order while stocks last, Titan Fall (possibly timed exclusive), probably missing some things. We could see all of this at the EA's GC conference. XB1 was mentioned a lot of times. When they said this was an unprecedented partnership they weren't joking.
@Elite24Gamer
Are you Frigid's twin by any chance???
You believe the XB1 has a dual chip loool If the XB1 is so all mighty powerful why has MS not being calling their console that, why did we have to wait for so long for them to confirm basic specs of their system like PS4 (TFs)..... Also why is there such a visual downgrade in Ryse Coliseum mode to the Beautiful Single player if it's all powerful. And you really think MS or Sony would a sell 4-5 Tera...
Knack yes... Drive Club no.
The problem with what you said is that the internet and your PC specs are basic requirements needed to play the game. XBL isn't because the point of Free to play games is that there is no barrier to access the game (No upfront cost). The point of F2P games is that all you pay for is the content in the game and nothing else but on the Xbox platform you have to pay for access to the game which you shouldn't because that defends the whole model in the first place. PC and PS4 support the ...
It's so terrible yet you could do it in COD 4 and MW the games your studio founders/most workers created. And like RadioActiveTwinky mentioned you need a bit of skill with BF in COD bullets travel straight.
Not really. The problem with the whole MS devkit situation is that not only where they using more powerful hardware it was also from a different vendor nvidia and it was also using Windows 7 not 8 like the XB1. Devkits are the Retail hardware just with more bells and whistles and a different shell to make development easier. Speced PC's do not represent retail hardware in any shape or form.
Loool i knew it was a matter of time before this arrives.... May the shitstorm begin.
He later said it was actually PS4 devkits (Speced PC's =/= devkit kits) ---> http://i.imgur.com/iwoBMHy....
Basically he's considered that the PS4 is too small and because they haven't shown anything running on Final/retail hardware he's afraid of the potential problems in the future (...
All their plans with probably come back but will be implemented through digital copies which is what should have been done in the first place not what they tried to do by limiting the trade/resell of physical copies by turning them into digital copies.
Some Kind of DRM will be needed for things like family sharing to work properly.
This is a good thing for the industry because if they truly want to cut out the middle man (Second hand market) then they have to...
The point is they have striked more deals with new IP's than already well established ones. Like you mentioned in your post.
The more I see this game the more I like it ( Not a big fan of racing games in general). The lighting and shadows are great and the detailed damage to the cars is awesome as well. I wish they would release that 1080p capture that promised already :p.
