True given Rare is a UK studio maybe we will get announcement/CG trailer at E3, gameplay at GC. They probably with focus quite a bit on PC at GC because of PC present being strong in some parts of EU like Russia, Germany.

But they are not missing the show they are still going to be at GC on the showfloors which is equaily as important if not more because GC is open to the public and missing out on that would be bad.
They haven't completely abandoned it given they haven't said anything about not being at the show floors which would be a bigger deal imo. So as majin says it's "not bad" at least for people visiting.
Compared to last year they definitely do because the only new announcement we got at GC last year was screamride and I guess Tomb radier deal. This year should be really good depending on how much they decide to focus on E3.

MS is being kind. VMC however isn't being they these guys might get legal action which is what they agreed to when they signed the NDA.
