So? Who fuckin buys a console for a UI? It's a non essential perk I guess. But not a game breaker or game changer. Just a UI.
Omg who really cares about the UI resolution? To be blunt, it's about the damn games. Not the UI. Duh. Non issue for most. I highly doubt someone was on the fence about PS5 vs. Xbox and then learned about a 1080p UI and said: "That's it! I simply cannot feel comfortable getting an xbox with a Non 4k UI!"

Sure it might not sell as well as the PS5 but that's splitting hairs just to be able to talk crap.
The real thing to focus on is, the fact that having old games be well supported is cool. No matter if Sony or Xbox does it. If Sony does more to support their old legacy then that will be AWESOME. Period.

No. Msxs smartest move is to get quality 1st party content out as soon as reasonably possible. Period.
They have struggled with 1st party long enough. Delaying this game to make game pass subs spread out into 2022 would not be good. They need it to release asap. If it gets delayed then so be it. But they need it out asap and they know it, and most of us here know that.
Well they may have spent 7.5 billion in part to secure it as an exclusive. They may want this to be a system selling exclusive for Xbox and an option for PC. If they spent 7.5 billion, maybe they don't care about Sony revenue.
Maybe they want it to help move consoles for them instead.
The games are coming. The consoles have been out 5 months and still arent widely available so by the time people can find one in stores, the games will be just around the corner.

I agree. I have it on xbox and love it. It's quite tricky to get 100% in the later levels!
The only way I see the gap widening is if MS doesn't actually release all their upcoming games like Hellblade 2, Fable, Perfect Dark etc.. or if they come out broken or of low Quality.
If things go poorly with MS's first party this gen, then yes I could see the gap widening.
But if MS has a good batch of 1st party this time around, then of course the fairly logical conclusion would be the gap would shrink. I dont think Xbox will ever outsell Plays...
Great idea that will be a potential time saver if it's for a Pokemon you don't want.
