You know what you're right. I used to go to gamestop and do the midnight launches for my fave upcoming games. Now I wait till they are $40 with DLC, or even better, less than $30 with DLC.

I think Remedy didn't really know what story they were gonna be able to offer until the last minute with this game tbh.
They seem to have learned things from QB and caught on to their own style after, and struck a better balance with the "less is more" approach to story with Control than they did with QB. I love both for different reasons despite Control being a better game overall.
It wasn't well supported, which is a shame, cuz it's actually a good game.
The lore, audio logs and datapads added lots of fun to the story side of the the game. And the live actions sequences actually were good in the right state of mind and context.
It was not B level tho.
This game is actually amazing - bar some kinda rough shooter mechanics.
It just wasn't supported or purchased enough. However, everyone who I've ever seen or talked to who played it loved it.

No, Sony's team made this game and talked about the challenges of developing for 4 consoles and easy mode they made for xbox users to learn the basics of the game.

You seriously think Sony needs to include ALL past games for it to suddenly qualify as BC? It's BC regardless of how many games are supported/playable.

Idk man, I think the significance of losing 2 frames or losing some resolution fidelity is up to whoever wants or prioritizes one over the other.
There are pros and cons to both.
I agree that the differences are minimal.
But people keep thinking the PS5 running 2 extra frames at lower resolutions means it performs better on PS5 and that makes no sense to me.
It's all preference. Do you want slightly higher resolutions or slightly better frames at the loss of resolution?
I certainly would like to Play Jak and Daxter titles, and the old Ratchet and Clanks with Enhancements. Not to mention tons of other PS1 and 2 games.
Or Lair or Motorstorm with some enhancements?! That would be super sweet. There are tons of cool possibilities that I personally would be stoked for.

I think Sony expected PSNow to take off more than it has. Maybe they will do something to offer PS5 BC for PS3, 2, 1, etc.. and I hope they do.
