I think Indie Games should have their own section on Steam etc.
Don't make me look at 30 crappy asset flip or dime a dozen Build/Survive/Zombie/Horde style games made by a development team of 5-12 people, just because I typed in Resident Evil 4.
Asset flip games are annoying.
Like PUBG and Cuisine Royale, just stop them and make something original and new please.
I agree lol. I gave up haha
Same.
I too was also SO freaking hyped for AC back in the day.
I would read previews and watch trailers and developer videos with the Gorgeous Jade Raymond over and over for months before it came out.
I tried to "warn" my friends saying this game and series is gonna be huge, and I was already a huge fan of all the Prince of Persia games.
Perhaps that is why I was never bored of the AC games, since I had already done tons of repetitive platforming ...
I agree. To deny next gen improvements while praising last gen simplicity makes it sound like This guy wants to stay in his Comfort zone and would prefer to stay with last gen GFX. His teams aren't even talented enough make a game like Scalebound up to Microsoft's hit or miss standards. I think this dude wants to develop on the cheap and collect the maximum revenue he can with minimal effort.
Switch lets him do that.
Umm what? Ms is actually doing mostly cross gen stuff for the next 2 years. Plenty of support even if you don't upgrade at all.
Series X is a focus, but they are not abandoning this gen, which may hold back the Wow factor on new games for Series X, but everybody wins this way at least
It's time for them to stop Creating new pokemon. They should have stopped at 350 or so in my opinion. There are just too many half thought out designs, and the thought of being overwhelmed with too many new rules and types and new trading rules or scenarios made me lose my desire to play pretty much anything released after Ruby/Sapphire or FireRed/LeafGreen.
I thought a few weeks ago the said it was Smaller than Odyssey? Is Ubi just answering all interview questions by saying crap they hope sounds good at the time?
They said Sony had the best SSD setup.
Does not mean best EVERYTHING tho.
They actually seemed to be really careful to NOT mislead people, and yet here we are, we still have folks getting confused.
No wonder Aliens haven't made contact with us yet.
Looks pretty and I like the Music. I like some of the Immersion design choices. And the Animals.
But why in the hell do the people go flying 10 feet when hit with an Arrow? First time I've ever seen what is meant to be a standard/normal bow behave like a Ballista projectile.
Because Dollars and deal can make people do things other people want/need.
I don't think MS expects they will beat Sony. I thinks they just want to have more supporters and get more multi console buyers to be willing to take the plunge. Maybe dent or scrape the market share a bit better this time around.
I think they just want to better and more stable than they were last time. And so far, they are in a good spot overall, Now they just need to show AAA 1st party games. I'm kinda nervous that if their 1st party stuff doesn't blow people...
But you do get more storage space on xbox's SSD. I wonder if the Unreal engine 5 game assets for let's say, an entire 1st party game would take a lot of space to he ready to be accessed in an instant? Or maybe the game install sizes will be similar overall since there is less redundancy in the data itself and ssd's can read and access things faster without scanning all over platters?
In my opinion, the demo was fantastic, truly looked insane and was impressive as hell.
But a few things also stood out to me. We Never got any specific claims or info saying that what we were shown could ONLY look that good on Playstation 5. We didn't get any real breakdown of what components were responsible for ______, or what part of the PS5 was doing _____, or computing _______, or rendering ______, or explanations of how part of what we were seeing was improved by SSD speci...
Maybe they were under a sort of Embargo or keep it mum type of situation where they couldn't talk about UE5 until Epic had their chance to showcase it?
No it's hate. Always has been. It's an active agenda and witch hunt to ridicule anything MS or their fans say or do, and it's a endless shifting of goalposts and contradictions and denial at times, just to make sure nobody impressionable thinks MS is any good.
MS has their faults, sure, but you guys make it seem like they killed your Puppy when you were 4 and you want to see the world burn for your Hate and misery.
Aside from some missteps and Poor 1st party out...
No, Epic showed an Interactive real time demo that was confirmed by Epic to be able to run on a broad range of devices. Even older devices. We saw it running on a PS5 sure, but we don't know what it would look like on a PC or Series X. We don't even know if anything PS5 specific affected any part of that presentation. As far as we know that was straight GPU CPU and RAM being used like any traditional game's data. We do not know if the SSD ninja skillz were used in that at all, and...
But this isn't a game. It's a real time tech Demo. This is more a beautiful example of what Unreal Engine 5 is capable of than the PS5's advantages.
I read this on Eurogamer's interview with EPIC and it more or less confirms in my Opinion that while Stunning, it is most likely something that a Series X could also do. Or a high end PC, and both of those could possibly do it even better than the PS5 did.
"The key features we're debuting will ...
Well to be fair, Epic did say this in their interview with Eurogamer.
"The key features we're debuting will work across all of the next generation console platforms," adds Sweeney. "We don't have performance comparisons, we can't share performance comparisons, but this is a feature set you can count on with that generation, particularly micro polygon geometry with the Nanite technology and real-time global illumination with Lumen."
Lumen in th...
I'm not getting a Hyper powered PC anytime soon. I will be okay with dropping around 500 bucks On the Series X, and around 500 on a PS5. To me that is better than PC gaming for what I want from the machines.
I don't want to spend 2 grand and get half of one side of the gaming world to be stuck with driver issues, weird unexplained games that are poorly optimized for PC, and my set up won't be able to handle, SMALL monitors that are designed for 1440p and 240 fps, yet have...
