There is strategy involved with radar.

Because everyone in a Halo 2/3/Reach mach has radar, a new dimension opens up as to how to approach the enemy. Radar forces some players to move in a crouched position or to take up a position in a particular location and stay put.

I don't think Radar is a bad thing. I've played matches in Halo 2 and 3 where there is no radar (MLG PRO). There are one hit kills and it can get pretty frustrating because 1) you d...

Console gamers aren't used to having options so they assume PC gaming works the same way.

Basically, the reason why Skyrim doesn't deserve any praise or any award or any recognition is because it doesn't run well on 6 year old hardware.

Some are hackers, and some act as drones for DDOS attacks. There is no doubt that there are some major hacker Anons.

@ da2pacolypse.

Microsoft still supports SOPA and probably PIPA as well. They can say they don't, but they still do.

@moparful

I suppose it was Microsoft that whispered into Sony's ear to implement online passes.

Buzz phrases like "destroying the industry" or "ignoring the hardcore gamers" are really irritating. I wish the gaming industry does die. Maybe then you fools will read some books and smarten up.

Including Blinx, the cat that uses a time-travel device.

How many of those 55 IPs would be successful today?

No, both consoles have RAM limitations. Developers have learned to deal with it by reducing draw distances and making sure objects disappear after being interacted with (Bethesda didn't do this).

" the same way "LOGIC" is happy to call car combat "niche" (because we've seen so many big time, AAA car combat games lately by which to judge that claim /s)."

Well, yeah. That's what makes the genre niche, dude. Are you seriously being sarcastic about that? When something is rare, it's niche.

FF 13 sold 6 million copies or somewhere around that.

And SE said they cut a LOT of content - a whole game's worth - to make FF 13 fit in to the 3 Xbox 360 DVDs. It must have been easy to make a sequel if there was already a ton of content just sitting there. And the easiest way to gauge whether people want a sequel or not is to see how well the first one sells. 6 million copies warrants a sequel.

You mentioned that you want to play one game on 360 but don't want to pay for it, then you mention that SE is stupid for releasing all those JRPGs exclusively for 360.

Don't you think, if you remove your subjective experience from the situation, that there are people out there who want to play some or all of the JRPGs exclusively released for the 360, and thus have more than one game to buy a 360 for?

If Microsoft and SE released a slew of popular JRP...

"bring on the disagrees re fanboys"

That's ironic. Generally it's the fanboys who can't stand seeing changes to franchises, aka YOU.

The original Resident Evil games are in reality a far cry from the mental representation you've created in your mind. Compared to even mediocre games of today, the original RE games are pure crap.

Don't let your nostalgia get in the way of reality. Capcom is trying to improve t...

The fans of the original resident evil probably wouldn't be able to stand playing the original resident evil to this day. You guys are chasing nostalgia. You want to get that feeling back that you had when you were younger, and it's not going to happen. I tried playing Resident Evil 2 three years ago and I couldn't stand it after 20 minutes. The zoomed out camera angles, the rigid movement, the sluggish controls that I didn't even notice or mind when I was a little kid wer...

"The two biggest complaints about RE5 was the action focused approach and the co-op, yet they still have these two things in the game."

I thought the two biggest complaints were 1) there weren't any zombies and 2) the game wasn't scary.

Probably because they're trying to attract anime fans so they can diversify their userbase. It's only a flawed business model because the anime fans won't buy a 360.

Well if you buy the game used for 30 bucks, a ten dollar online pass will not deter you because you still end up saving 25 bucks.

Kind of a boring map. I wish they had maps where the whole ground was moving, like the floating mountains in the film Avatar.

I demanded a fully-fledged sequel to the Kotor franchise. That's what I wanted, and I'm sure a lot of other people wanted it, too. I could never understand why Bioware was unwilling to make a regular sequel to Kotor. In my eyes, even the Mass Effect games fall short of the glory of the first Knights of the Old Republic. So, I'm not at all unhappy that the MMO isn't doing so well. But I'm not sure how EA and Bioware will interpret this. They may just think that the Ko...
