I still want to rent this at some point, because guaranteed if it were a 360 exclusive it would have had at least 7/10. Maybe people expect more of the PS3 at this point with titles on the way like MGS4 and FFXIII? Perhaps you could say the 360 is like the village idiot, everybody raves when it does something mildly interesting just as a little pat on the back, "there, there Xbox 360, well done"
Did you fall down and smack your silly little head? To tell the absolute truth, the Xbox 360 is in no way superior to the PS3. Anybody who can say the 360 has more potential, power, etc is living in a fantasy world. As for your list of games, they were created by some of the laziest devs on the planet, and obviously they're going to prefer to developer a game for an architecture they're already acquainted with, the 360's being somewhat similar to a PC's.
But if you want to miss ...
You must enjoy punishing yourself if you really want to get a Zune instead of an iPod. Good luck anyways.
Ecstatic, thank you for asking.
Really agree with you about fun over sleep inducing simulation.
I'm very pleased this game got a good review.
Here were my thoughts on the demo:
GRID Demo Review
The first time I played the demo, I was utterly appalled by what I thought was frankly a rubbish car game with pretty-ish graphics.
However, I decided to give it another go, so I fired up the demo once more with an open mind. Something seemed to be different the second time I played the demo, I can't quite put my finger on it. I know it doesn't have the same...
Shane Kim needs to shut up, just.. shut.. up..
That goes for all the other MS employees that have verbal diarrhea.
I highly doubt Square Enix will allow itself to be purchased by the Microsoft.
Square Enix as a company would go downhill very quickly with the creative input (or lack of) from Microsoft.
I'm sorry, but in regard to Sonarus's comment (1.1), wouldn't an Xbox 360 implode if it tried to run FFXIII/Versus? With that in mind, it certainly won't become multi-platform, and it will be a very cold day in hell when it does.
Looks lovely, if they manage to increase the content they'll be well away.
Things like this are destroying the video game industry. Saying that, I wouldn't mind getting it =]
This is why I like Bill, he comes bearing gifts.
God moves in mysterious ways. No, but seriously, I think even the majority of Microsoft fans would agree that this man is an abomination and should not be allowed to have such an influential role (let alone CEO) in one of the world's most prominent companies.
I think Haze should have concentrated on having a varied and diverse single player campaign with an enjoyable multiplayer aspect. Although this generation encourages a multiplayer feature in most FPS games, it is not the be all and end all of a good game.
Considering the 4.5/10 from IGN (who I hold in high regard as game reviewers), I'd like to rent this title to make up my own mind.

However, I decided to give it another go, so I fired up the demo once more with an open mind. Something seemed to be different the second time I played the demo, I can't quite put my finger on it. I know it doesn't have the same realism in terms of car handling and graphics as Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, but quite honestly that would be a rubbish comp...
...remake FFVII for PS3. That will make their accountant's heads explode, I guarantee it.
It would be crazy to end the Final Fantasy series, simply because what you can do with it is limitless. He shouldn't bash FF because he doesn't like it, Final Fantasy has done more for gaming than most titles have done.
Oh dear, not this insufferable man again. I think crack is to blame for saying something like "PS3 Getting Squeezed Out".
If FXIII is anything like FFX i'd be much more than happy. I loved the story to FFX, it was so original.
Oh dear, he must be on crack. Why are these people allowed to write blogs?
Umm excuse me, Final Fantasy is far from worn-out. As time goes by it keeps getting better and better. It's always had rich and involving plots (FFX was my favourite), and some of the characters are the best I've ever seen in any type of media, not just video gaming.
I admit I didn't like FFXII, I didn't take to the characters and found the story to be weak. Maybe I should have stuck with it, but I gave my PS2 away and my PS3 isn't backward compatible. Which is a shame because I'...
