omg where did they find that woman, seriously though..
hopefully it will be less buggier than the ps3/xbox versions of gtaiv
:>
anybody just gonna wait for the sony conference lol?
lmao i didn't have a clue when the japanese guy was saying.
but that american guy with the mole on his face is really annoying me.
is there a sniper in the audience to liven things up?
edit: the people acting in the game demo trailers look retarded.
and wft is that woman?
Next gen, Sony + MS should just do a joint console thing, cuz what's the point of having two platforms when only a handful of the games are different?
PS. F*** you Square-Enix
Why for the love of God would you want to make the shell of the 360 look any cheaper than it is?
Last night I was angry at SE, but today I'm not because as a matter of fact, the Xbox 360 cannot hope to achieve the technical achievement FFXIII will be on the PS3.
I predict FFXIII (360) being FFXII-HD with CGI cut scenes peppered everywhere.
I hope Tetsuya Nomura and the other talented people at Square-Enix break away and form a new studio set up by Sony. I doubt many people working on FFXIII liked the decision to 'port' it to the 360.
S-E shares have dropped since this announcement.. serves them right.
"Nomura has commented that the engine will be able "to recreate battle scenes reminiscent of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children." It also handles advanced audio processing, cinematic cut-scene transition, physics effects calculations and special effects rendering. The engine reportedly uses four of the six synergistic processing elements that are available to games running on the Cell processor, to achieve near-pre-rendered CGI quality in realtime."
- Crystal ...
Exactly! Now we're looking to get a scaled down version because it's coming to the 360.
I'm so disappointed in SE, what happened to the SquareSoft we used to know.
I blame the Enix merger, Square have been going downhill since then.
Even FFVXIII using 100% of the Cell's power won't be enough to redeem Sony and SE.
F*** Square-Enix if both versions of FFXIII are the same and they don't squeeze out every single bit of the Cell's processing power.
I refuse to have a gimped PS3 version just because it's coming to the 360!
PS. F***MS if this causes delays for the PS3 version.
PPS. Sony should've bought SE a long time ago.
Why the f*ck didn't Sony buy when they had the chance Square-Enix?!
I'm so disappointed in SE and Sony at the moment, I feel stabbed in the back.
I'll say it only ONCE, if FFXIII on the 360 is true the PS3 version better not be f*cking gimped to match the 360's version.
Because...
The PS3 has killer exclusives.
MS talk about multi-plats like they're 360 exclusives, when they're just as good on the PS3.
By 2009 the PSN will be on par with XBL.
The 360 has Fable 2 and Gears 2 as their exclusives anybody has any interest it.
256mb of the RAM runnning @ 3.2GHz is not gimped when the entirety of the Xbox 360's 512mb of RAM is clocked at a paltry 700MHz.
Can Kotaku please hurry up and change it's name to Xbox World or something appropriate in regard the trash it publishes daily.
These exaggerated PS3-bashing stories are getting very old.
Well to me, having to pay $50 (£25) for an annual subscription of LIVE is fair enough really if you enjoy playing games on it with friends etc... But to be honest if LIVE is ad-driven then shouldn't it be free of charge?
Hope I'm making a valid point here.
I had this problem for about 3 seconds whilst playing GRID.
Guess it was my own fault because I went into the XMB whilst GRID was loading something heavy.
Ooops.
PS. I hope that in-game XMB doesn't detract from the PS3's processing powers (unless they're running it on the 8th core of the CELL with the rest of the OS, which they most likely are).
PPS. Has anybody noticed when moving though the in-game XMB, the menu animation is very slightl...
Microsoft is suffering for being too short-sighted.
Not just with SC IV (if the rumor is actually true), but with other games to come.
A bit greedy really that they make people buy a proprietary HDD.
A coincidence that Kotaku publishes this article on the launch day of the PS3 firmware v2.40?
I think not...
here, have some bubbles
