I said I hated FFX in the article.
I don't think Dark Cloud is as good as people made it out to be, but that's personal opinion. DC2 was better and I liked building the town but I kind of forgot about it after I beat it.
I have yet to play Shadow Hearts 2 and I knew I'd get flak for that! lol
I said the game had to be released in America, and unfortunately Xenoblade hasn't, though I have played the import and enjoyed what I could understand of it. Can&...
Seems like the portable games are stealing the console version's thunder.
I guess for Americans, you can say we can import Xenoblade, because there's no chance that game is coming here anytime before the holidays...
Oh, I still play the games from the 90's, preferring 2D over 3D any day. Nowadays, though, a game needs to evolve. I will concede about it being on the Wii U, however.
Highly agreed, if not on any platform with more graphical oomph.
Time will tell whether Kingdom Hearts can still remain relevant after all these years and with some rather questionable portable titles, but so far it sounds entertaining enough.
That's basically what I said. You're hired!
True, but it's hard to deny the number of games nowadays that have to go through the annoying "Day-1 Patch".
Eh, that's not really much of a compliment. There are at least a dozen shooters that claim that moniker. But I will personally give the demo a try. I agree that I liked the originals for more than the GRAW series.
What I like to do typically is beat a game, then take a week off (unless there's a deadline) to really soak it in and figure out what sort of impact it had on me. Ultimately, it has a great engine and some cool mechanics, but that's where the buck stopped me. There were only a few different types of robots (each with maybe 1-2 variations), and the game was very short and cut off very abruptly. That doesn't seem like a $30 game to me when there is only one mode to speak of. This fe...
The conversation got a little lively when this came up. We kept joking about the parrot could cause us to do flanking maneuvers, or if it could talk for us during conversations.
Looks like a decent enough romp. Diablo clones are good time wasters.
Absolutely. I've been playing Duke Nukem since the sidescrolling days as well. When you don't even change a damn thing about Duke Nukem 15 years after Duke Nukem 3D, you can't expect people to fall in love with it again when the benchmark has risen so dramatically since then?
XSEED has been talking about this on their Twitter feed. You should check it out!
I am sure the closer we get to the release of the NGP, the lower the price will go. Now is a great time to pick up a PSP for sure. Plenty of solid games that would sell well if only there wasn't such ill feelings towards the system.
I understand where you're coming from, as I too hate it when companies make such terrible marketing decisions. However, you're not going to take care of it by pirating, an issue they are trying to solve with DRM. The only solution is for these publishers to learn methods that work for everyone. Torrent this game, and you're going to see far fewer decent commercial titles come to the PC.
You're part of the problem if you go out of your way to pirate the game.
It is. Was very refreshing sitting there listening to the presenter being completely honest about the problems their first game had and how they're completely changing everything in the sequel.
That's wishful thinking. PS2 emulation hasn't even been perfected yet and that system runs on pretty low specs on 10+ year hardware technology. Won't see PS3 or 360 emulation on reasonable frame rates until probably 2014 at the earliest.
I said I hated FFX and Kingdom Hearts II was an honorable mention because although it was a lot of fun, it didn't leave as much a lasting impression (though the music sure did, I'll give you that).
