The article is called Minor Console Aggravation. Minor. What were you expecting?
And it is annoying. The PS3 seems dead set against multitasking in general.
I use my PS3 a couple times a week, mainly for Netflix. It seems like every time I turn the thing on, I have to wait 10 mins for it to download and install a system update before I can do anything; the latest example being a few days ago, trying to start up Netflix and I have a painfully slow update to ad...
EA dies at the end, right?

My top 3, in no particular order:
Donkey Kong Country - Aquatic Ambiance

Final Fantasy IV - Main Theme

I have it on PS3. It's a great game/song tutor/practice tool.
And yeah, plenty of people do; it's sold over a million copies.
I play my SNES far more than my X360 and PS3 combined.
HD is over-rated. Lol.
I can't see the difference. Why pay more?

@decrypt "Shooters by nature are the most resource intensive games."
I don't think you could get much farther from the truth. (Most) shooters are pretty much static environments, static lightmaps, very little use of physics, no AI in multiplayer, and generally small areas (maps) compared to other game genres.
And I only say most because BF3 bucks that trend with ambient real-time dynamic lighting, large maps, and tons of physics and destructable...
It's completely normal for a development team to shrink after the completion of a project.
This doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the quality or performance of the game, and doesn't really spell doom and gloom for the studio.
Haven't played the game, not commenting on gameplay, just stating that the presentation appears to be directly lifted from the Dirt series. Not a bad thing; the game looks great.
Nothing against the game but this looks almost exactly like Dirt 3. The presentation is nearly identical.
Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord was one of my first PC games. I was probably six or seven, and I still remember the very sleek looking black box with red foil text. I remember creating a thief named after my friend Kyle, and locking him with a password, only to forget said password. I tried for so long to remember that password.
Just use the server browser.
I'm not really a fan of the matchmaking anyway. There's much more of a community feel if you find a couple of servers you like and get to know some other regulars.
"Classic" Counter Strike doesn't have match making.
It does look cheap imo, but I guess that's kind of the point.
My 160GB beast of a Netflix player is still going strong.
Lol, awesome vid.
IGN AU makes it hard to hate IGN.
I got Rocksmith when it launched, and it is a lot of fun. Also a decent practice tool if you don't mind picking up theory on your own. And the amp mode is pretty awesome, lets you customize amp tones/pedals etc.
Wait, can you delay something that hasn't been announced?
He's been doing Bridgestone commercials for years.
Pretty funny they have a tie-in with the Wii.
It sounds silly to say it looking back, but every gen since 32-bit, people have been asking, "How can it possibly look any better?"
And then it does. Technology doesn't have an endpoint. Until games are unable to be differentiated from real life, things can always get better.
"Journalism" fail, but funny tweet nonetheless.
What will it even matter if they ever bring out PvP? The people who spend the most money on the RMAH are just gonna dominate anyway.
Diablo III has been dead to me for months.
Using a Canadian (or is that Canadiens) hockey player to advertise a game based during the American Revolution?
I see the mark, and I see Ubisoft missing it.
Carey's good shit though. Just don't turn in to Jose Theodore.
