I hope games like this will give small developers a chance to shine. Thatgamecompany is really being innovative on that level in my opinion.
@ Shaman that's what I meant to write :D
If development is still ongoing and this could mean we won't see GTA V until the holiday season of 2013, Take Two's fiscal year ends in late March
Pachter might have been right after all...
Read the title and thought to myself more Underground :D
This news has been known since last year and was even confirmed by Bungie at GDC 2011

They poured evil sauce in his face
My impression whenever I hear F2P as well... I'm still hoping for the next game that comes close to Mutant League Hockey
Even though I would have enjoyed to see how this one would have turned out, today's trends just leave a title like BIA in a niche market...
They are supposed to come back to Halo 4, just not as the main enemy

(I see you have been supplied already ;D)
You might want to be careful posting this, it's supposed to stay on the Ubisoft page for Uplayers today and tomorrow and this is ripped off of their page.
Questioning the coexistence is something where you have to look at both titles more openly. The thing is, it looks like other games in a good way to me, like Uncharted. Uncharted "took" a lot of ideas, but created its own identity. Eventhough Dishonored looks like Skyrimshock's Creed, I'm loving it and it's doing something new, therefore not taking up AC's place.
Something the trailer doesn't show enough of, but is my favourite mechanic so far, is the traversal in the trees. It may sound odd, but to anybody who knows the scene in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" where Caesar is running through the house in a single flow, it feels a lot like that.
Not to mention the fact that we are seeing more and more quality video game titles delivering a better cinematic experience than many films. What I find hilarious that we're also seeing the tipping point of movies becoming games to games becoming movies.
Seeing how the home console has become the home entertainment system, I'm curious to see how the next gen will influence our consumption of media.
@ morganfell I don't mean to fuel any fires but GTA IV was supposedly also only delayed due to technical difficulties on the PS3

The thing is gamers will buy everything they like, but the biggest purchases during the holiday season come from parents who buy "what they know" (cod, gta... well established BRANDS not simply games) or simple gift givers who will do the same, "what they know". On top of that come the one game a month purchases from kids who simply chose their favourite out of the bunch, making it even more important that company's bet on their best horses towards the end of the year....
Well I'm hoping its not a point and click where you can walk around. You're right there has to be that struggle or confrontation, where you actually feel like your intuition plays a part. A game that comes to mind that pulled that feeling off with out having you engage in combat, was Amnesia.
David Jaffe explained his story to God of War III. The first cutscene featured Oceanus in his water form killing Hermes, similar to Poseidon’s God form. He then said that Kratos would fight Zeus in the opening boss fight and kill him. Then a portal opened from Mt. Olympus and released the Egyptian and Norse Gods. The Titans and the Greek, Egyptian, and Norse Gods start to wage war to determine who would rule the world. Kratos also meets up with his Norse and Egyptian counterparts. They explai...
All the info was debunked minutes after it came out :D we wrote about it last night and removed it from n4g because it was proven wrong before it could get approvals http://xbigygames.com/xbox-...
