I think adding it in hindsight is ok to attract new players who then might want to up the challenge, but right out of the box the games should be straight up brutal. Because of this painstaking difficulty the series has become as popular as it is now.
My thoughts exactly... In another forum I remember somebody writing, "the only reason why Capcom is getting positive feedback is that all the fans who didn't agree with the new Dante have already left"
Good times...
I'm wondering if it could tie in to the ending where Big Boss and Solid Snake meet at the grave, with Big Boss finding out about the cloning project in Ground Zeroes.
It's true that there might be a bigger threat and that the Didact might only be a nemesis, but do you think the Chief will defeat all enemies in the first part of a trilogy? Even though I think you are right and this could be another 343 guerrilla marketing trick, it is still possible that the climactic battle will face you off against the Didact with the real threat building up Halo 5.
Oh man, that's a headline alright :D
But yeah, even in this article we link to our previous entry when the trademark was first abandoned and many came forward to say that this simply happens sometimes.
A user on NeoGAF even pointed out "SCEA has let the trademarks expire for Sorcery, Until Dawn, and likely a bunch of other games."
Exactly, if I'm not mistaken he was born '79. I just don't see why this would make it improbable that this could be Raiden in Ground Zeroes.
Are you claiming it's probably Snake because Ground Zeroes takes place after Peace Walker? That would make sense, as, you are right, Raiden was not born yet.
My bad, Thanks for the info and the article ;)
Well they're roughly the same age. Solid Snake was born in 1972, he only looks so old in MGS4 because of the manipulated cloning process which leaves him with a genetic defect making him age rapidly.
In an interview with Polygon it was said that the game is coming in chunks, so it won't be the full mod. http://xbigygames.com/scree...
a ghoul like mission, similar to the vampire/werewolf segment in skyrim would be great in that case
The Aliens were actually a race that crossed my mind as something that would be unlocked if you, say, finished the campaign on hard. Like you explained, they're more of an Easter Egg.
The Supermutant challenge I would see being fixed in development. Their size shouldn't be a reason not to include them. Having to take on the role of a Super Mutant like Uncle Leo or Fawkes would be sweet, or simply a Super made for negative Karma and destruction.
Even though the classic races and like ghouls and super mutants are obvious, I'd love to see more undiscovered species, such as the aliens or beastmasters
Oh snap, it just hit me that even as a playable character it would make sense, what if it's Gray Fox aka Cyborg Ninja?
(would still prefer a curveball :D)
It is the first thing that would come to mind but I'm hoping for a twist reveal nobody will see coming
As said in reply to TruthbeTold, the differences became apparent in a naval mission that had tons of smoke and lighting effects included.
It's not that the entire game is completely inferior, we were watching a further naval mission from the game side by side with a ps3 and there were effects clearly missing. When we adressed this we were told that these are simply some of the challenges the team is facing with working on new hardware, if enough time is given the wiiu will match or even surpass the 360/ps3
Nice collection, but reading this made me realise that there are countless creepy characters in gaming :D
It is a DS. It was simply a joke, as it's a picture of the host from "The Tester"
And the game ends with a stinger for Half Life 3 O.O
