With the mainstream bending backwards over games like Call of Duty and Uncharted, a game like L.A. Noire doesn't exactly stand a chance even though it full deserves one.
I'm looking forward to Starhawk and I know I'll put in more time into that game than I did with Starcraft. But....Starcraft is a huge franchise. There are very few games that can "crush" it, but Starhawk isn't one of them.

Since Sony promised games will go digital the same day as release, people are expecting to download games. Also, there are also a crowed of people who ONLY play online games.
Looks great. I'm sure however it turns out, it'll be a blast. I just hope it's not too long of a wait =X
If PSN still isn't up by the time it gets released, a lot of people wouldn't want to pay that much for it.

Should have, but that might have delayed the game. Especially since this is Valve we're talking about and they never charge for DLC. So we know they didn't purposely take out content just to charge us for it like some companies do.
Also, releasing it AFTER the game comes out is good because people wouldn't rush in to make crap and release it to the public. People will have a chance to screw around with the already included levels and get ideas from them. I can...
I REALLY doubt it unless that game is a LONG way from being released. The ocean looks great, but the character looks like something from the Wii. I think somebody just took pictures in real life and added a hub to them.

But it's been in development for so long. So they probably have a lot of assets they never used and they wanted to use to begin with. Maybe development was cut short to get it released?

A few days plus a year, you mean. There's a Tales game coming out in August for the 3DS and then there's Graces f coming out after that. I'm sure Namco would wait over a year to release another console Tales game after Graces f.

Ugh....retail? I don't think I want this anymore. I don't mind paying $15, but a whole $60 just seems to be asking for too much.
Not at all. I like how it gets all of the current episodes of some of my favorite shows, but if I'm paying for an application, I expect NOT to see ads and commercials. That's why I just stick to Netflix. Hulu Plus is a joke.
