It was only a matter of time before the Uncharted series and Heavy rain appeared on the 360. We all knew Versus XIII was coming as well. No way would Naughty Dog, Square Enix, and Quantic Dreams would let such a money producing opportunity pass them by. Can't wait to play these games on my new Xbox 360.
Open world, towns, airships...why the hell didn't final fantasy XIII have this? XIII was cool, but it should've been called something else. Given that it was a main entry in the FF series, our expectations were high. Can't wait for Versus XIII!
I'm not buying any of his games anymore. I can't stand this guy's attitude...hell, I'm a Sony fanboy and idk how the hell the rest of them actually like this guy.
They look find to me. My problem is that the levels are too open and look empty. I'll still probably end up getting it, but adding things like more obstacles, buildings, ramps?, or interesting mechanics would help.
Can't wait. I really hope it plays well....either way, it looks like Capcom is doing a great job with the story. This is the first Resident Evil game trailer I've seen where I REALLY want to know what happens next in terms of the plot. It looks so interesting.
I'm pretty sure the updates are measures taken against piracy. Nothing like PS3 or 360 updates where features are added. It's hard for Nintendo to add anything with the Wii's limited memory.
It's a Metal Gear Solid game whether you like it or not.
But developers don't think about everything (which is obvious). Microsoft is especially guilty of this since they decided to think their hardware was good enough to skip testing before release.
Since I haven't been keeping up, but what if it decides to shut down while a game is saving? Wouldn't that corrupt your saved file?
@basicsameh514:
I guess it's good either way. It can either overheat and shutdown or overhead and give you a nasty red ring =/
Nobody said you couldn't share your opinion =P
Edit:
@lugia4000:
People are disagreeing because they don't agree with you. You're allowed to share an opinion, but just because you're allowed to do that doesn't mean people have to agree with you. It's like a relationship...you're allowed to recommend anal, but that doesn't mean she'll agree to it.
It's a game; You either have fun with it or you don't. Thanks for sharing your opinion with the gaming community.
@waterboy:
You're right and it's very pathetic that they are. They talk about completely irrelevant things like marketing, copy-pasta, etc like it even matters! Game developers want to make their games fun and if you don't enjoy their game then move on. Why can't gamers enjoy games? Why do they feel like what companies do ...
But not by these games. I can imagine a sequel having so much potential if it tried to do something that makes it stand out from the rest and became more ambitious with the story.
It's his opinion, not yours. If he thinks it's a great game, there's nothing you can really do about it. Although I totally agree with those games being better....ehhh, aside from WKC. That game was a huge disappointment to me. In terms of gameplay, Demon's Souls was the best, in terms of story, Lost Odyssey blows every game in existence out of the water. Tales falls right in between leaning more towards gameplay since the story sucks.
Outside of what the Japanese PS3 owners got, I doubt most people would bother with it.
Their handling of the entire franchise is sickening. We barely see Tales games release in outside of Japan. I really wish they would sell the IP to somebody else. I think Tri-Ace can handle the series better.
This is what they get for making an RPG exclusive for the 360. As much as I love the 360, it never made sense to me. The Japanese don't care for it and since more JRPG buyers are Japanese, that's a huge cut in sales right there. Also, although there are plenty of JRPG lovers in America, Tales games never do well over here, especially on a console where RPGs don't really sell too well.
Had they released it for the PS3 and 360 worldwide at launch, it could have don...
But yeah, you need both for the full experience. Just like the Wii remote and Nunchuck...you need both even though some games only require the remote.
They said something similar about the Jasper model. We'll just have to wait and see. If they did, I'll definitely buy one =)
If it doesn't make sense then read my post again; it makes perfect sense unless you're blind =P
Regardless to what a developer says, if a game isn't established, it makes no sense to make excuses as to why the sequel to a new IP doesn't look as good as modern games. What I mean is, you said "Crackdown games...." and went on to saying something else. You're saying that as if there are more than one Crackdown game to compare Crackdown 2 with.
I'm pretty sure they'll release a more enhanced version of Heavy Rain and Uncharted 1+2 for the 360.
