I thought there were no CATS in America.
Because if there's 2 things you don't want in an assassination game based in a historical setting, it's authenticity and violence.
Good article. I'm really looking forward to the game. The first one was a lot of fun, and this one looks like it's going to be even better,
Is is April 1st already? Or maybe I'm on Bizarro world. BioWare had an long, admirable history of telling great stories, and I've been a gushing fan of theirs for many years. But for some reason they really, really f'd up the conclusion of what by all rights should have been their magnum opus.
Cool. Can't wait. :)
Wasn't this chart already posted? I've been actively searching for a more thorough guide that explains the new powers in detail, so I might have just found the actually page before it went up here. Anyone else itching to use Nova on everyone?
Fair enough. I just mentioned it because it was, literally, the action rpg they made right before Mass Effect, which was the title of the article. You can't get much more recent than being directly before something.
I totally agree about hoping for a Jade Empire sequel.
Jade Empire, which BioWare made right before the first Mass Effect, was actually spectacular. I've played it more times than I can count. It remains one of my favorite games.
This is very true. My cousin learned Krav Maga in the IDF, and she could kick the ass of almost anyone else I know. And she's only 5'6" and 130 lbs.
I watched the video to learn more about Vanguards, and they didn't even show Charge or Nova, they just mentioned it for a second. Guide fail.
Well said.
I am so excited for this. Thief 3 was my favorite stealth game.
It says Adepts also get Nova, but I didn't see that option in the demo. I thought only Vanguards got it.
Good to hear him say you don't need to do the multiplayer in order to get the best ending. I almost canceled my pre-order because of that.
That was basically my experience with the game as well. I loved Fable 1 and 2, but this was just crap.
She looked like a little sister from Bioshock,

I think what you and Basjohn are saying sounds likely. I can't think of any other scenario. That's somewhat frustrating though, because in the demo you start with a full Barrier bar, do a Nova, then it refills in like 3 seconds. So if I get into a fight and my first attack is a Nova, it makes no different how high my total Barrier is, it'll do the same amount of damage, assuming I haven't taken any hits yet. Does that sound right?
I'd like someone to explain how your Barrier stat impacts the damage output of Nova for Vanguards. The description says that the damage is based on how much Barrier you have, but the listed damage and force total under Nova skill does not change when I increase my Barrier stat.
Sorry, I'm not buying what you're selling anymore. You've let me down too many times.
