If you are fine with not actually owning the games you buy, only having a licence to play the game, which can be revoked at any time for any reason, not being able to resell, and not being able to go back and play it 20 years from now, so be it. You are in the minority though. 90% of gamers still prefer physical media, for good reason.
With physical, you can also back up all your games once CFW comes out. You will then have digital copies for convenience, while still retain...
Good time to get Fallout 4 if you do not already have it. Has its issues but still a great game and will provide far more entertainment than the game we shall not name.
I think this is the 3rd time i had completely forgotten about Agent, before being reminded by an article. I knew 6+ years ago that it would never see the light of day. The writing on the wall was more like 20 feet of grafitti.
Doesn't work. It is still saying i need to purchase one of the $45 packages before i can download the client.
Most games with a budget that high end up spending $40-50m on the actual development, and $150m on marketing. For a story focused game like Shenmue, with a small dev team, and minimal if any marketing, $7m isn't too bad. Optimal probably would have been around $15m.
You could likely count on both hands the number of games that have legitimately used more than about $60m on development, and none of them were story focused. They were all more about packing as much content...
@rainslacker:
Only technically it isn't a crime. If this is a forced P2P disconnect, and he is the one who started the game, then he is the host. All the other players are connecting to his system, simply using Sonys servers as an intermediary to establish the initial connection. What he is doing is exactly the same as using the /kick command on a pc game like Diablo. He is not "hacking" or unlawfully accessing anything other than his own internet connection. ...
Retro gaming has "lasted" 40+ years, just in a different format. It is not going anywhere.
vs complaining for the sake of complaining, not wanting to admit you were wrong in the past when you pre-judged it, and then using terms like "corporate slave" to try redirecting onto others. Feel better yet?
Similar to Eve, but much more fleshed out. More questing, and ground based exploration/combat.
In the way that most games do? no, and it has been clearly stated from the start, that it never will. It has been clear right from the original Kickstarter days that it would be a modular game and always in "production". It has been playable by backers for several years now. Go to the RSI site and buy a pack and you can DL and play it right now.

Because Geno rocks. People have been asking for him to make a return for ages.
@Eonjay:
Switch is being sarcastic. He is making a point that Sony does not like providing free BC anymore (hence PS Now).
This is more along the lines of IRetro asking Switch, what makes him think Bugatti wont give away the Chiron for free, and Switch countering with "oh, so the Veyron is free?"
History has shown us that Sony doesn't do free BC anymore. This new emulation will likely be integrated into PSNow or some other...
@Eonjay:
Any modern PC can easily emulate the PS3. The PS4 Pro could emulate it if Sony decided to make a PS3 emulator. The only reason RPCS3 doesn't emulate perfectly is because it is still in Alpha development. It is a very small team of people working on it in their spare time. If Sony were to help them out with it (obviously hypothetical) it would likely be finished and running 99% of games perfectly at 4k/60fps within 6 months.
The general rule o...
Not sure how they patented anything other than the name. MS is already doing exactly what is described in this filing, with 360 games on the X1. PC emulators have also been doing this for a couple decades.
The story in FFXIII is laughable. It is by far the most confusing and convoluted story in FF history.
II, X-2, and the entire 13 trilogy, are worse than XV.
@Aspiring:
I am not arguing against the idea of how they marketed Immortal, as being highly questionable, i actually agree on that front. I am arguing against the idea that gamers should be able to dictate what developers make, and the trend of criticising a game in general, just because of the platform it is made for. Games should be rated based on the game itself, not the platform it is played on.
Atleast give the game the benefit of the doubt and play ...
Gamers keep fighting for the idea that video games are art, yet continue to post what you just did, arguing against creative freedom. You cannot have it both ways.
They get to make whatever they want, you get to choose whether to buy it or not. Gamers have no right to dictate what a developer makes. Also, despite the handful of trolls bitching and moaning about a game, without having played it, just because it happens to be on mobile, mobile games are very profitable. Devel...
Why? One of the worst games ever made.
If your board supports M.2 drives, check out the new Corsair MP510s that just launched. 960GB, 3480MB read, 3000MB write, $269. https://www.newegg.com/Prod...
They should just start with a full remake of the original Red Faction.
Titan Quest II needs to happen also.
