The main problem with the prices is the content. They are providing you a place to rent games before purchase. But the games they are providing are multiple years old. I'd honestly wouldn't mine paying 5 to try out a game for 4 hours to decide if I want to buy it. But only if that game is a new game. Im pretty sure Far Cry will basically end up being like a timed demo for the co op. Especially since your allowed to do it 10x's there is no way your getting full multiplayer access to that many people. Sure some people will try the multiplayer and then decide to buy full product cuz they liked it. But If you give them all of multiplayer your probably going to cut around a 25% deficit into your sales. Thats probably why theyre so vague about it right now
This would be a completely different situation if these were new games. Alot of these are either old or just not good. But the Pubs arent gonna budge Sony basically just gave them an option to get the money back that they are losing to resells at places like Gamestop
The problem is the Publishers have a huge input on the price. Sucks cuz I had high hopes for this service. Before beta there was lots of articles about PS signing publishers to include games on service. This is most likely the result of that. Even if it is Beta those prices are high mainly due to the pubs. Hopefully it changes but they dont need to use a beta to define their prices.

Personally doesn't affect me because if the game has as much depth to it as everyone says 1 extra mission and a couple vehicles and guns isnt gonna affect my experience on Xbox One. So I dont care ill have a ps4 eventually but it wont be because of a little dlc on one game
Thats the main reason. Sucks because we have seen what the engine is capable of. The games just never had good story to em or else they would have sold. Take the constant QTE out of ryse and it would have gotten alot better ratings and then sales
The problem is that they told everyone it would be $60 when it is released. Now its only gonna be 50. So therefore they lied to us when saying it was 60. They better correct or the will get lots of hate. Actually probably not that much because all the die hard sony fans will just say, you should have read the fine print. Which is so stupid. yes but those devs are still giving a percentage for the platform license to sony. you can see where this is a little bit of a mixed signal

On another not CDProjekt confirmed today that the demo at the MS conference was running on the ONE and not a pc like most assumed. So, did they lie? Considering they still have 10% of the console that they havent used yet. So something is definantly going to be different inretail from demo.

Well they aren't wrong. a large majority of third person open world games run at 30fps on console. If anything they could be saying that just so they can bust out and celebrate when they hit 60fps since its uncommon

no you are wrong. All four of the halo games will be running in 1080p/60fps. The 60fps is more stated and advertised because hardcore halo and shooter fans will get excited because none of those have ever been 60fps. Well minus the 1st halo anniversary edition on pc.
