@VenomUK: Not true. There are lots of characters to spin from. The problem lies in the Odin and Tor not being the slightest bit antagonistic.
Most greek gods are flawed in very human ways - antagonistic sometimes, antagonistic at others. But there are lots of antagonistic characters in Norse mythology, so there is still potential for games there.
Here is my take on it:
1) Putting Greek Kratos in a universe with Norse mythology would be parodic and wouldn't serve the series or Norse mythology much justice.
2) The roles of Zevs and and Odin aren't coinciding, so a straight up God of War game wouldn't make much sense.
3) Norse mythology already loans a great deal from greek and roman mythology; It made sense in that mythology and religion raised moral and faith in war and ha...
I think the point with this demo is to show as many new things with the game in the shortest amount of time without spoiling to much about the game.
I am a skeptic, but the fight with the Iron Giant managed to impress me!
Nope. Far from the best game there is. Try these out for size..:
Fallout 2 aka "Brutally mature, deep and humorous - you'll cry about this series demise"
Final Fantasy VI aka "For Once It's Not Going to End Well"
Shadow of the Colossus aka "I Didn't Know Climbing In Games Could Feel So Satisfying!"
Final Fantasy VII aka "The Crisis from the Sky" aka "Spoiler Alert..&quo...
Actually, it's pretty far from being the greatest.. detail and depth and all..
Nah, you're stating opinion as fact, while it really is subjective.
Nostalgia is always going to play a part. I want to play Ocarina of Time so bad, but personally the graphics are so dull and lacking og detail, I can't be bothered.
I'm sure it's the same the other way around to.. You think the characters look ugly ("how is it possible to have such a low poly character in a game?")..
The truth is, one has to have a...
I kinda have to see the what the overlying menus look like. And the search box better be revamped! Well, atleast it's not appalling.
None - because the lenses aren't any better than on Google cardboard. Put your money in a dedicated headset.
I don't expect it to be like Minecraft, but Mojang kinda laid the groundwork for the open world exploration genre. I hope they've taken some notes.
PC/SJW-agenda.
They don't know about the ins and outs and mechanics of 3D graphics. This is nothing more than today's shortcoming around 3D modelled clothes.
In PS+'s defence; if it weren't for PS+, I would never have sunk 400 hours into 'The Binding of Isaac'. I was expecting it to be a good little snack, and it ended up being a 7 course meal.
Stark contrast to todays AAA games, I.e Star Wars Battlefront.
Two words: Super Sampling.
@Cash_fellow: I think _paying_ for a demo and sinking several hours into it despite initially not liking what I'm seeing, counts as giving a game a fair chance. And @glasscannon909, as @martinnatalex said; I doubt the cast and gameplay will change noteworthy from episode Duscae.
@Adrian_v01:Atleast he's pouring his thoughts on the matter. Not throwing hit'n'run accusations like you are.
I don't even care I'm being downvoted. It's c...
I gave ffxv a fair chance. I don't like the characters, i don't like their dynamic. I don't like how they translate to english, and i tire of the vocal ques. VO is generally tacky.
I don't like the combat - there doesnt seem to be a way to excel. It's all a grind. Its boring and its braindead. It doesnt even gel as well as in kingdom hearts.
FF has derived into mindless and charmless fodder.
After xiii and episode duscae, final fantasy xv will be the first main line FF game im not getting. Literally the only saving grace was the summons.
Im buying bravely default in protest. Edit: bravely second.
Wardrobe malfunction would be whole new venture they could explore
My thoughts exactly - this has to be a satirical piece.
The obvious answer is no - it's an unfinished product; the educated buyer will hold of on buying a copy, and the "tail" of sales will be significantly smaller.
"Everyone" cares about having the best graphics. As they should.
Problem is IQ of PS4 AND XO BOTH suck!
Hear me out: I'd rather devs make graphics that complement the artstyle, and that doesn't overreach.
MGSV is an example where they're actually good enough for the realistic look. And then there are a plethora of games that are not.
This is why I love the look of Nintendo games for Wii U. And why I hate...
@cpayne93: FFVII has prerendered backgrounds though. Some of which are even animated (like CG movies) So many pretty, interesting and eye catching details. They make you forget that the characters look like sheit.
OoT will always look the way it looks.
