Either way. Glad it sparked discussion. It's an Aerith/Aeris type of situation for me. In my book it's canon and will always be.
Edit: I consider only the first game truely canon, included the flashbacks. Anything else that got added to the story either by sequels/prequels or what the devs say, don't matter to me if it's not conveyed in the first game itself.

You're obviously no fallout-fan then, or you would know that Fallout games are vastly more flexible when it comes to gameplay, mechanics and animations. In 'simple' terms, Fallout is a more complex game, compared to W3.
Either way, I'd like to see YOU do better. Hell, you couldn't even point to a game that does what fallout 4 does, better.
Even though I am definitely a Playstation fan, I would appreciate it if publishers like Sony and MS made a clear distinction between remasters and upscaled re-releases. I have no doubt Uncharted was quite the undertaking, but the industry should elevate the value of what a remaster is.

Not a bad Fall schedule to not have any first party Juggernaut either .. Fallout 4, Just Cause 3, Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain. And those are just my personal favorites..!
Are xbox owners realizing what an awesome game they are getting? Isaac kept me going for 80+ hours last year when I couldn't get into Destiny on PS4.

In my case, FF8 is my second FF I've played through, but is still probably my favorite. When you subtract all the cons from the pros, FF8 remains the richest installment in the series yet. /imo
