Yea there are alot of cutscenes but the only game that could really pull of long cutscenes is Metal Gear Solid. Great story, voice acting, character models, and attention to detail. Gears is going to be crazy but Mgs4 is just a different experince and we need games like Metal Gear and we need games like Gears of War.
This doesn't mean it won't come out for the ps3.
The game is looking good and the maps look alot bigger.
I thought it was totally unnecessary because Geow2 release date is so far away from MGS4 that it shouldn't have an effect on Gears.
I wouldn't want gears to be like MGS4 anyways, I couldn't imagine 20 minute cutscenes for gears unless the cut scenes were very interesting.
yea I hope they turn up the graphics a some more but I probably won't be so much because you got 60 players online. The game looks like it could be fun though.

Look at now compare to last year, devlopers are getting alot more use to the ps3. There are still a few devs who are going to have problems but they will come along.
I think both Sony and MS made the right decision in there situation.
Ms with not so much 1st party support has to reach out and make some very good deals and it worked very well. Since Sony already has a lot of 1st part support they can continue getting more studio support for the long term.
But while Ms is getting short term deals they should also be acquiring studios for the long term and Sony should also be trying to strike deals for the short term.

Yea the first acts were great but it really starts to pick up in the later acts, there's a lot of Nostalgia in the later acts too.

If Ms gets timed exclusive on Re5 then Sony has to start being agressive with buying exclusives. I know money is tight this time around but Sony can use some of that money they get from selling ps2s.
Ok lets be serious, that resident evil looks sick, y'all can say those other games are overrated but don't say that for RE5 even if it could be time exclusive.
Now that this is brought to my attention, I've never had a single freeze up and I'm on act 4, the game runs fine.
With all the casual games that are coming out like Home, LBP, Afrika and now Dress I think Sony is going to do a price cut by early fall to get more casual gamers aboard.
Well thay got are attention but I'm not sure if this is the way they want to do it, unless they can really back it up.
