As long as there are good games out for the ps3, than people will buy the console for games... Having the ability to install an OS is just optional.
Now everyone is concerned with Sony and how much money they will make, how cares it's going to benefit you.

Come on now, that was the old days. Console are becoming more like computers, you can connect all kinds of ipods,pc accessories to the 360. Thats like saying I didn't like the first xbox because it had a harddrive which made it more like a computer, If anything it made it better.

I was hoping this was one of the ps3 features that would come true because I was looking into getting a faster computer but it would be better If I can use the ps3 as a gaming console and a pc. Big points for Sony, I didn't actually think they would do. Thank you Sony, thank you!
Because if anybody knows anyting about failing, it's Atari. Ok He's right Sony historically had bad software tools but it seems as if Sony has things right this time around. This guy just wants Sony to fail, even with a high price point I really don't see that happening.

All this news and preorder stuff about Halo 3 is just Microsofts attempt to get as much attenition away from the ps3. The game probably won't come out untill November 2007.

Yea I am guessing, but don't you think Rockstar will try to take advantage of that, with a game like gta. More maps, more cars, character models, mini-games and just more overall content. I think it's a high probability that the game will take up alot of space on the ps3.

yea your right it's larger than both xbox and 360, thats because it's more powerful then both of them. Haven't you read the previews, the ps3 doesn't get hot plus it's very quiet.

First off it's a good commercial to have before the ps3 launches, 2nd neither M$ nor Sony's commercial told us anything about the online community or interaction , it doesn't need to. No! the commercial is not as funny as the 360's commercial but it does grab your attention. It looks good but I think this is one of those games where it looks better when you see the video.
So killzone on the ps2 was lacking in a lot of areas but it had potential and was hampered down by the ps2 hardware. Th graphics were actually good for a ps2 game and I don't see why killzone won't be a graphical masterpiece on the ps3. I think the gameplay is what we have to look out for but if they can get it like the trailer this could be good. I think the two games that gamers want to see the most will be Halo 3 and killzone, I know I am anxious to see what Guerilla does with Killzone.
