Yea I actually think that's a smart move. Not a day after or a day before but the same day. people picking up Killzone might say hey let me pick up SF4 and people picking up Sf4 might say he let me pick up Killzone 2 also.

Both ads were great, I liked that they had home in there and it was really cool to see sackboy smiling on the back of that girl shirt.
The second add was just awesome, alot of good titles in one. Plus the song with the kids sounds like they're singing "gather around".
I always knew Sony could advertise but they just don't do it often.
I also thought they might advertise Uncharted since they got a bundle with the game.
I'm not an rpg guy but FF 13 does look good from the few videos and pictures they've shown.
I only had one pause playing gears but my friend said his kept messing up.
Just from reading this preview, I'm starting to get really hyped for the Multi player alone. The different classes seem really cool!

E3 2009: Sony announces Eight days is back in production and is schedule for a holiday release, that would be nice! Seriously Sony needs to bring this game back it looks fresh and out of all the games coming out next year Eight days would be my most anticipated title behind GOW and Killzone.
Wow good numbers for the 360 with it's price cut but that was expected. I thought the ps3 would be a little higher, I think the 200 mark would have been just right. I would have to say the 360 actually effected the ps3 sales this time around. I also think the main contribution to this was Price cut plus Rockband being exclusive for a month. I think Nov is going to go to the 360 also with gears of war.

There are plenty of original levels in LBP but it just seems like the ones people get excited for are from old games.
Be patient I think it's leading up to something.
I like things better this way, instead Sony telling us they're going to do something and people get impatient, they just surprise like this.
That's nice, hopefully other publishers will follow in the same direction.

I was thinking Home and Killzone beta this month.
I'm actually happy they cancelled it, it's the best show in the world but I don't think in would translate well into a game. I think Ubisoft realised there are so many twist and turns in the show that they didn't know what to do. They probably had Peter's character model looking awesome then they watch the show when he lost his power and said what the h@ll.

Well some people have different taste because I don't like the online portion of R2 but the single player experience is what I look forward to. That's how it was with R1 and after playing the beta that's how it's going to be for R2.
I'm probably going to get alot of disagrees for this but I had the Resistance beta, bought LBP and Socom, rented Fable 2, Midnight club and out of all those games, Socom is the one I play the most. I mean Socom had problems but it's still fun.
I was actually waiting for somebody to give some negatives about the Killzone Beta. For the people that are in the beta can you honestly tell me what you think of the controls? From what I've seen, I like the realism in that you have to work hard for a kill but do y'all agree with the one guy that the controls need to be tweaked?
I want honest opinions because I have a feeling I won't get in to the beta.
