Yea I actually didn't like the demo, they just threw you in there with no story but when I played the whole game it just felt good. It wasn't like this game is mind blowing but it was a great game overall with a nice story, characters, gameplay and graphics. I personally thought it was one of those cituations where the demo didn't really do it any justice.
They should bring it back in black and limited.
So the rumor must be true, there was a tipster who said they saw footage of Uncharted 2 and that they also saw GOW and said it looked amazing.
Yes I wasn't sure if Uncharted 2 was going to come out in 09 but now it's looking very promising. I guess Jak is going to have to wait untill 2010.
First off I don't think the game floped and 2nd when Sony released the beta the game moved up fast on amazon's top 100. If it wasn't for the beta it would have sold less.
Lightning this seems very familiar, the 360 was alot cheaper than the ps3 and people claiming it's over for the ps3. Then when the ps3 got a price cut it gained alot of ground. We know the holiday seasons is the best time to do a price cut but I think Micrsoft's only opportunity for a price cut was this holiday season. I don't think they have a good opportunity for a price cut next year.
Sony on the other hand has many options for a price cut for 2009.

Just calm down the ps3 is doing just fine for it's price. I think it would be a better strategic move to wait untill next year. Sony has plenty of options for a price cut next year with a game like GOW3.
Yea I agree with you Thor, all of those negatives won't stop it from being a good game but could hurt it in the reviews. I don't think it's going to be short though and I'm one of those people who criticize the AI. In early videos the AI looked bad but hopefully they've been working hard on it.

I'm so happy to see this, one of my fears about Killzone is there won't be enough variety. You know how reviewers may get but with seeing this new breed and seeing that big robot in the latest trailer, I think Killzone will have some variety.

It's all a big game, I think Sony wants to hold off on a price cut for as long as possible but when people come up with rumurs like this it kind of spreads. You hear people talking like I heard there might be a price cut in March. Then when the rumors spreads it starts to effect the sales, in return Sony may actaully have to do a price cut becuase of articals like these. I guarantee where going to hear a couple of more price cuts articals before the year is over.
I think the safest bet is Home then I thinik next on the list is Killzone beta. They gave us a hint like it's something we already know and it can't be free dlc becuase that would exclude alot of people.

I don't think it was hard to figure out the 360 is going to take the holiday season. I think what's important is how much the 360 can outsell the ps3. This is only one of the many battles in this ongoing war and as a ps fan I have to say this holiday season the battle belongs to the 360.
Sony is content with how they're selling now and I think Sony should be very confident in what they have in store for 2009.
