I love how all the Destiny haters flock to Destiny posts......I laugh EVERY TIME!!!
But it's not to expensive. I've played vanilla Destiny for 1100 hours and have had tons of great experienced and memories. People joining in now may get the legendary for $60 but they won't have my experiences. Worth every penny.
I don't get people arguing that it's too expensive.... Destiny came out 1 year ago and was $60.... This is Destiny 1.5 and has more overall content then that game.....and its $20 cheaper...... So how is it overpriced?

Yo Mama: You can definitely get all the raid gear from Crota in 3 weeks.... I helped my buddy through Crota for his fist time a few weeks back and he got a full set of raid armor in 1.5 runs through.....
The game definitely isn't for everyone, but I love it personally.
I'm in love hunting for very exotic and even though most of the time I dismantle legendaries I get, sometimes the roll is so good that it's a DEFINITE KEEPER!!!

Well that's simply because you're obviously looking in the wrong places.
You say you need radiant shards...those can only be found in Crota's End, and you cannot find ascendant shards there. So if you play Crota's end you are typically guaranteed radiant energy or shards. And if you're high enough rank with Eris you can turn shards into energy or vice versa.
Yea, gotcha. I used to be that way but I realized that I was wasting so much money that way. I will never play games like The Order again after I am done. I have become a more of a buy, play, sell, get new game type of player.

It's actually a terrible decision to wait on games like this. You are best off using some type of rental service or do what I did.
