The thing this Forbes writer doesn't understand is that this is not an Uncharted game. I love I'm immersive storytelling as much as the next person and like how Naughty Dog does it......but destiny isn't that game. It needs a mute protagonist in my opinion.

The thing that blows my mind nowadays is how people think games should be free or DLC should cost $10. Do you not realize the time and cost investment that goes into making a game? Personally I got more dollar to hour ratio out of Destiny than any other game I have ever played in my entire life to this point.
This is why free to play and mobile games have RUINED kids today. #ColinWasRight

This is the mindset people that don't understand Destiny follow, and it's no wonder they don't like the game.
The only way to truly enjoy Destiny is to play the content as it rolls out. You get the most enjoyment playing the new raid or new strikes as they launch. You discover the adventures as the unravel and meet new friends at the same time.
When you come into the game 6 months late and everyone has beaten the first raid like a dead horse...
When they said Destiny would last 10 years they didn't mean the vanilla game. They meant the franchise. (ala: Halo 1-Halo 3). This is them continuing that promise.

I don't think you realize all the revenue streams they had coming in. I'm VERY confident they made more money with Kinda Funny...
I started Horizon on launch day, and I really really like it. Then I got Zelda forms switch, and I haven't played anything else in 10 days. Personally that means Zelda is better in my book.
I love LOVE my PS4 this generation, but 3 days in I can soundly say Breath of the Wild is the best game ever made. I LOVE my Switch.

Some people are just terrible, shitty, humans.
They moved it up from Friday to Wednesday because of the fear or server issues. If they launched Friday it could have been a weekend of server disaster (because more people would log on). Now that they launch Wednesday, only the hardcore will be getting on first morning and that allows time to work out the kinks by the time every else is on Friday night and into the weekend.
P.S. To everyone bitching about the Raid launching a week after the game launches, the EXACT same...
