Ah, you smell that? Smells like justice ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Serves you right Kotaku. You'll get no sympathy from me
You must not have played Metal Gear Rising; the amount of male ass and crotch shots is remarkable. Didn't hurt my entertainment at all. Not sure who it was 'aimed at' but I didn't care. Your point is kinda moot
Well damn...I hope SJWs are happy now ¬_¬
At least you can still import it. It'll be just like the old days when many japanese games never got localized. We're back to niche poverty tactics!
I respect that the author was sex positive, so that's cool. Good article overall. The bar for 'sexualization' is set so low that even fully clothed women are too much if even a bit of skin is showing. So I'm glad this article called Polygon out on its bs
I agree. Difficulty settings are a way to have options for different types of players, and add re playability for completionists. So you can make the game as hard or as easy as you want it to be
Great article. She doesn't like the content in games? She can A. Not play them, B. fund her own game, C. focus her criticism on actual game elements and not nitpick everything, or D. All of the above.
Listen: Anita is well within her rights to complain about games. But, everyone else is well within their rights to question her complaints and argue with her assertions. I hate this stupid idea that 'no one;s allowing her to talk' when we're simply answering wha...
Never been ashamed to admit that I love the DOA games. Not really the volleyball games but the actual fighting games. I even went out of my way to play Tina's arcade mode in DOA5 to get all of her default outfits. I may main Helena but I love Tina too :p I don't care what people say about it just being boobs and bikini DLC, it's a legit fighting game with some awesome fanservice for both guys and girls. Other than that I don't really have any games I have to defend my enjoymen...
Oh look who it is.
Actually, you'll notice that I never once used the phrase 'Xbox One exclusive games'. I was just talking about games coming to Xbox One, but obviously they're going to be on PS4/PC as well. I wasn't being misleading at all, I was just promoting Xbox One in general.
Hm, 'Frontier Defense' either sounds like another multiplayer mode, or a offline/online co-op horde mode. I hope it is. I kept saying this games needs some offline stuff and more variety as a whole. I wrote about how the Pilot Skirmish mode was a nice change of pace.
Feels about the same tbh. Everything runs smoothly and even death and respawning doesn't feel like it lasts as long.
"not embracing her victimhood. Instead, she's taken all that bile and hate, and turned it to her advantage"
That state is contradictory, especially considering she'll hold up any crap thrown at her and say 'look at all the harassment I get'. That's professional victimhood to be honest.
Exactly. Titanfall may have been overhyped, but it's still a fun game overall. I play that and COD Ghosts from time to time. People love to say they're 'dead' games, but tons of people still play them.
So after an entire controversy was created from the gaming media generalizing gamers, this article seeks to remedy that by...generalizing gamers? VERY CLEVER
Law enforcement is useful both for dealing with harassment, but also for discovering when it's real or not. This is beneficial for everyone and I support it. It'll get rid of the bad eggs and stop the people attempting to weave threat narratives.
Yeah I agree. For me, my favorite kinds of games aren't necessarily the 'undergdog' games, but games where the character starts of weak, disadvantaged, or after some kind of loss and has to fight, long and hard to gain power. That way, when you get that power, it's very fulfilling. I can relate to a character more when they start off basic and become power fantasies by the end.
I am a gamer, and that will not change. We're all gamers, all of us. Men, women, straight, gay, trans. It doesn't matter. This is OUR community. And let's fight for it #NotAfraid
That picture though
One more thing to say (because this is my last conversation bubble); people who claim that Anita was just 'misguided' in her assumption about killing prostitutes in Hitman Absolution is BULLSHIT. When Thunderfoot exposed her, he hit the nail on the head. The level where she killed the prostitutes and dragged them around was like the 3rd level in the game. THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME has a long tutorial telling you how the killing and hiding system works and it warns you that killing non...
Not at all. The list was just comprising of main line 'traditional' fighting games. I left out stuff like Killer Instinct season 3 and only put a footnote about some anime game PC ports. I like stuff like Naruto Storm 4 and I do think they are considered fighting games. However, this was just to highlight the 'main 5', as it were. I apologize if you think I was intentionally excluding them.
