Umm.... people don't complain every time a violent game comes out. And is it really the same comparing a feminist to someone who poisons people with hate and pushes them towards violence? I mean, not comparing him to Hitler, but I don't think people would complain about killing Hitler either.
Nintendo needs to bring in more struggling developers in Japan who are still obsessed with Sony, who isn't selling well over there, which is exacerbating their struggles further. Might be able to sell more NXs if it becomes THE place for Japanese niche titles.
I really enjoyed the first game. One of the first to show off DirectX 11 all those years ago.
At that time, dev kits only had access to one of the three CPU cores. That's why he thought it was less powerful.
I agree with this. It's the reason I haven't bought Battlefront. That and the fact that it's a criminally small price tag for the amount of content you get.
You totally just proved my point bandwagon boy.
Wii U was an amazing innovative console that was misunderstood by a cynical group of stubborn people resistant to change. And then every one else jumped in the hate wagon and it became the "cool" thing to crap on. People can be so childish.
It's funny how Wii U is the only successful console over there. The reasons are a bit complicated though. Basically, Japanese gamers feel betrayed by Sony who went full Western style with PS4. Sony basically gave their middle finger to Japanese developers for the first year as they whored themselves out to the west. Since the Japanese didn't blindly eat up the PS4 like they expected, now Sony is desperately trying to make it a system for the Japanese market again. However, they screwe...
Not really, Wii U is the console to own in Japan for people who don't want to just play mobile or 3DS.
Oh good.
Maybe not a great GAME; however, it's truly one of the best stories of last generation. It had amazing atmosphere to boot. I still love it dearly.
I bought their game twice just to support awesome devs like this, and hope other publishers follow CDPR's example. This example by the way, is way things used to be done. CDPR uses the same extra content model PC gaming used before Xbox 360 game developers started to abuse the ability to offer extra content.
That's true. The PS1 version was also lacking compared to the version in the arcade. Wasn't until the Gamecube/PS2 gen that games started to be as good as the arcade versions.
I still have to beat 2 on my PSP, and 4 on my PS3. I guess I'll just play 3 on my PC, though.
Unpopular as it is, this was definitely my favorite. Fun controls, a more personal story, wonderful characters, interesting level design, etc. For me it was amazing in all of these ways.
Besides, the final boss plus the moments leading up to that final boss were one of the best gameplay moments of my life. TRULY epic!!!!
Such a terrible version. PS1 was the only way to go.
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy XIV: a Realm Reborn
Chrono Cross
Xenogears
Warcraft III
Are my top 5
Man. Even though I don't have a PS4 yet, I'd really love to buy Uncharted 4 collectors edition(unfortunately it's sold out). I bought the Uncharted 3 collector's edition and that was an awesome set. To this day, I wear Nathan Drake's belt buckle as my main belt buckle.
These are all damn good games, and it's a darn good reason to own a Wii U, too, since it's backwards compatible.
I say, keep delaying games until they're ready.
