It's not even that they're "bad," it's that Japanese developers very stupidly tie gameplay elements to the frame rate. Programming classes teach you NOT to do that because it limits the flexibility of the game.

I think it really depends on the specific game. For example, for third person games with shooting, I prefer the steam controller. For FPSs keyboard and mouse. For FFXIV, I use a PS4 controller and for Smash a gamecube controller. For most third person action adventure games, I like the Xbone controller. I play FFXI with a Wii U Pro controller. I tihnk it's hard to say what is exactly best unless you narrow down bests in different categories.
PS3 support ended with the launch of Stormblood the latest expansion. That said, I don't think it'd be that difficult to run on Switch. It's got plenty of ram for what the system does.

The reason they didn't support wasn't because it was a failure. Sony arrogantly assumed 3rd party developers would just automatically make tons of games for it. Sony not supporting their own system discouraged other developers from supporting, and because of that, it failed. So the system failed because Sony wouldn't support it; not the other way around.

It's still amazing to be able to play this game on the go, though~ And it shows that the game can still look good on the device.
Why that initially seems to make sense, Link Between Worlds isn't a direct sequel. Link to the Past->Oracle of Ages/Season->Link's Awakening are all the same Link in the same timeline. Link Between Worlds is a different Link, but still in the same timeline. So I'd really like to see the whole adventure altogether.
I was thinking of getting it just for the novelty of having a PORTABLE Skyrim game.
Meh. I think that just making the 3DS version HD is good enough. That was a damn good looking game.
The controller has a steep learning curve, and requires a bit of customization, but once you get past that, it's an amazing controller that's deeply customizeable. The added gyro sensors really improve aiming in a lot of games, too.
It's not just nostaligia, though. All lot of these classic games still hold up now.
Miiverse was one of the best things Nintendo ever made. The community was absolutely incredible. The art people would put up regularly was just incredible. It's sad you're so filled with hate and disdain.

Truly the relaunch of FFXIV as A Realm Reborn saved the franchise and Square-Enix with it.
Nah. Definitely the best console. Most console games are available on PC so..... from a PC gamer's perspective, even with their exclusives.... Sony and Microsoft still leave a lot to be desired. Switch on the other hand hits it way outta' the park. Especially since it's also portable.
