IMO it deserves LESS of a chance now than it did before the first 180.
Clearly they don't have faith in their own strategies... Haha, I want a PS4 because they seem to know what they're doing, which is focusing on pleasing the core gamer, which I am, so I agree with that strategy, and will support them where it counts: the wallet.

As much as I distrust Microsoft, I think we'll see an announcement of the cheaper, Kinect-less SKU at Gamescom.
I'll still keep my PS4 pre-order, and enjoy that while I wait to see if Microsoft can release some new IP that interest me.

I'm inclined to agree with you.
Games that are strictly either FP or TP tend to look and play better than games that are both.
I would rather them pick one and give it maximum polish than do both and it look clunky.
Hardware won't matter, but games will...

I know, I beat KZ2 and KZ3, and I'm sure this isn't going to be a true direct sequel, because they'll reserve that for a full fledged KZ4, but I'm still excited to see where this universe takes us in Shadow Fall.
I'll stop bellyaching when they sell a SKU without Kinect for less than $400.
I would be very pleased and impressed if they could make this happen.
If they would just sell an Xbox One without Kinect I would honestly become very interested,
