Personally? I don't really care. I've loved plenty of games that used peer to peer servers such as Gears of War 1, CoD 4, and others that I'm too dumb to remember.

I can see why you would say that, but in the PS3's case, the more powerful console was the one that was late, not the inferior product.
PS4 is cheaper, and more powerful. And if it releases before Xbox One? In my opinion I think PS4 will take a runaway lead right out of the gate, a lead that will be very hard to catch up to for a weaker console suffering an identity crisis. Also, many gamers don't like camera functionality. PS4 is the only choice if you don't want...

Next gen isn't only about high res textures and reflections off of surfaces. It isn't only about realistic facial expressions or bigger maps.
It's about physics. Physics engines cannot be praised enough, because they have a 'wow' factor unparalleled by any other graphical feature.

With the volume of incoming Indies it's very unlikely that any of them will be much over priced.
Think about it, indie devs put a lot on the line to make these games. It's really a pretty hefty gamble on their part. Playing it safe and making sure you maximize your returns is crucial, and they know that. And that fact combined with the amount of competition they face means that we'll see competitive prices, not high prices, which is always a win for gamers.
