He's basically saying:

"We have an easily-scaled game engine, so it was easy to scale down to PS4 just like it was easy to scale down to PS3"

He's not really saying anything about the similarities of the two systems' architectures.

If they aren't able to achieve 1080p in BF4, then KZ and Infamous will indeed look "much better" as I stated.

I really don't think Titanfall looks that great visually anyways. It looks FUN, but it's obviously a ported game, considering it will released on Xbox 360 as well as Xbox One and PC.

And I think there's a bigger difference between exclusives and cross-plats than you're giving credit for, considering the two open world gam...

First of all: this is a YouTube video, which means it's compressed footage and not representative of true 720p video.

Secondly: it's 720p, so along with being compressed footage, this looks absolutely nothing like what the final product will look like on your television running on a PS4.

The fact of the matter is that next gen, if games are developed first and foremost for PC and then ported down to consoles, the console versions are going to take quite a hit in the process.

Developing for PC means you can use much sloppier code because developers rely on PC gamers to keep their hardware updated, whereas console developers know exactly what kind of hardware their audience has and so they use that very specific hardware set to squeeze performance out as much a...

Both consoles, but especially Sony just because I'm buying a PS4, should just sign a deal with Apple so that they have iPhone compatibility.

Destiny isn't a next gen only game. It's cross-gen just like Titanfall. They will both be able to run on Xbox 360, so I don't know that either are eligible for 'best next gen game'.

I think they ARE both eligible for best online multiplayer game, though. They both look promising, that's for sure.

PS4 (maybe x1 also) actually has architectural ADVANTAGES over a PC, not disadvantages.

Unified Memory Access (which PS4 uses) is something PCs will be adopting in the near future, and is something no PC has as of right now.
