Because I won't be able to go to the Playstation Experience. :(
Exciting stuff. I look forward to hearing people's reactions to playing it!... and then wishing that I could have played it too. :P
Well, From Software are supposed to have three projects in the works. You never know! It would be very cool.
I love me some Metroidvania.
Out of the games listed, I've only played Shantae and Teslagrad. Red Goddess looks very cool. I think I will give that one a go.
Thee year isn't over yet! :)
The Last Guardian looks wonderful.
@MRMagoo123
I understand. Perhaps I was being a little abrasive.
I still think the jump to the 3rd person perspective was a more fun improvement to video games though. :P
Without that jump there would be no Metal Gear Solid, no Grand Turismo, no Mario 64, no Ocarina of Time and games wouldn't effectively be what they are now without making that leap. It wasn't that the 3D perspective just made games more immersive, it also intro...
Ni No Kuni 2! I can't wait to see more from that game. :)
Also thumbs up to whoever did that Naughty Dog Selfie artwork. It's fantastic.
Sorry to hear that. :(
I hope things work out for you!
I never had the chance to try Sleeping Dogs or Outlast so I'm very much looking forward to them in December. :)
Hmm, I'd still say the jump from 2D to 3D games was a larger jump than virtual reality, personally.
Virtual Reality enhances what we already have whereas 3D environments shifted genres into a new perspective as well as introducing the FPS, TPS and many more types of games that could no exist without that leap.
Virtual Reality is absolutely superb for immersion, though but I don't think it's as significant as something like saving, analog stick...
I think the ability to save your progress was a bit more important than virtual reality, no? :P
Or maybe analog sticks?...
Well, I think people are entitled to like what ever game they like.
Certain elements of Infinite's design may simply not interest people. We all turn a blind eye to anomalies that exist within even the most carefully designed games. Someone's enjoyment of a game comes from how much of the things they like measure up in quantities of the overall experience.
If someone adores Bioshock Infinite for its art direction, but is uninterested by its lack o...
Matthew has a great YouTube channel. I wish he posted videos more often because they are always great.
Still, it's not fair to take away from a person's enjoyment of a game. We all play games for different reasons and its clear Infinite had a positive impressions on a great number of people.
Game design is a fickle thing that affects people differently. It's a necessity to making a fair and balanced games with fun rules and challenges but on t...
I would love to see more on Ni No Kuni 2. Level-5 hinted at some sort of kingdom mechanics and I'd love to hear more about that! :)
That's a very good price for me. :)
I am looking forward to hearing more about the system in January.
There's nothing wrong with that. :)
Plenty of room for two series to tackle similar ideas with diversions of their own, especially when people like it so much.
Games like this may not be my cup of tea, but both franchises have huge fanbases and should continue to evolve with one another to push this style of game along.
The .com TLD stands for commercial. It doesn't necessarily mean a Registrant is American.
Altough in this case, I'm pretty sure N4g is American. Just saying there is no reason why someone from, say the UK can't use a .com. I think it's just a more popular representation of an American website than the country code TLD.
Country codes are usually only used when specifying a particular region but com is used by businesses when targeting a w...
Rest in Peace Saki. :(
Your work is and always will be fantastic! Thank you!
I am looking forward to this one!
I am definitely going to pick it up for the Nintendo Switch when it does come out.
It sounds like everyone is enjoying it, and judging by the negativity I have received, it speaks volumes about the future it has.
I guess I can only concede, really. :P It's clear from the reactions that is has a very exciting future.
